Same bugs, different day...

Crashes constantly, when I gesture for selfie, spark stills flies off to the left until it hits something. Very frustrating....update, this app has gotten so bad that I researched the web and downgraded the go app to 4.0.8 I recommend you do the same....

I bought my Drone 12-15-17 and love it I have had no problems with the app. The only problem I do have is with the range I might get 1.3 miles if I’m lucky I do live in a busy city ?

The app was broken for several months and DJI did nothing to fix it. Their advice was to keep waiting. AVOID their products because the after sale support is horrible. If anything goes wrong with the software or company (oh and it will) your $$$$$ drone will be worthless. I’m never buying another product from these scammers.

I give 4 stars, however I came back from my last shoot wanting to give 0.5 stars (literarly). I do understand that the DJI systems are getting more complex and therefore it is necessary to keep everything update. But people have better things to do than to constantly update sw. I was on a shoot, remote location (fully legal, no restrictions, just mountains with some 2G spots. The app crashed all the time, image transmission issues sometimes preventing me to do the imagery I was actually out there for. It seems fine after the updates. So ... DJI, please, could you push notifications about these app and firmware updates that are required on the phone, drone and controller to fly reliably and safely? Updating on location is sometimes impossible and as the drones get smaller, the times of “prepare at home before flight” are over.

Mandatory Update that fails

Stupid mandatory updates all the time. I’ve been out in the field and the device is forced to do a firmware update. Now I have a new one, but when I try to do update it fails to download. I have been trying for 30 minutes!!! Such a POS app.

Not Compatible with iPhone X

I installed this app a few days ago and updated my Mavic Pro firmware to the latest version. After connecting to the Mavic, I could only fly with limited functionality and no video. There is no live feed video and no video recording. After support calls and chats, DJI informed me that this version of the software is not compatible with iPhone X. Please note that iPhone X is listed in the devices that work with the software, but DJI Support has confirmed this is not accurate.

I got my new Mavic Air and I can’t fly because the app is not compatible to the latest IOS. This is ridiculous!!! I will send that whole bunch of crap back!
