Unstable App, Don’t do it

Lindsay7171717

I have a three year old who absolutely adores this app. It is a great concept, fun, gets her to brush her teeth. We had been using it for about three weeks when it just stopped working. I had to delete and redownload (losing all pictures, disaster for a threenager), and even then it didn’t work. Last night was the fourth night it didn’t work (error message this time), and the fourth night of total meltdown. I will never use this app again, I just can’t go through the instability and chaos it creates.

Not working

Used to work like a charm, it's been two days that it won't open. Had to install the app again, lost all the preview stickers now he only have one album and Mickey to pick as a brushed picture not happy with the update. Still not working as it use to; most of the time the app wouldn’t open saying there is a connection problem; ever since the last update I can’t scan my sons toothbrush. I tried to get some stickers back since he had a couple of albums unlocked but the only album it has it’s Mickey and it’s full and keeps giving him the same stickers that he already has since the album it’s full.

Really?! You can't be any character anymore.

So the recent update locked all of the characters. My son is 5. He had a bunch of different characters and picked the one he wanted depending on which one was his favorite that day. Now you can only be Mickey and you have to unlock everything else. Really Disney?! This went to our favorite brushing app to the worst. My 5 year old doesn't care about unlocking new characters. All he wants to do is brush his teeth. Does unlocking characters mean buying all new products with characters on them or brushing enough times to earn a new character? Well neither is happening. My sons likes creating new characters and has 3 different Mickey brushers that he rotates through. I'm not buying Disney products to unlock new brushers. Bad idea either way.

Just Mickey

You used to be able to pick any avatar you wanted, now they make you scan a Disney toothbrush product to unlock anyone else. My 4-year-old doesn’t like this app anymore. Thanks for the greed Disney!

Update made it worse

Now after the September 2017 update my son's Marvel brush (Iron Man) now shows a timer/hourglass icon as he's brushing. It started doing that the day the app was updated. Even if you look in the sticker book it shows only 2 pictures of Marvel characters and then all pictures of a hourglass icon. How fun!

App won’t even start up

Frustrated parents

App won’t even start up! It worked this morning. Now it won’t even start up. Don’t know why it would have to connect to the internet. It took 45 minutes to download the app originally. Now the kids are all upset that they can’t collect their stickers. No the end of the world. But a waist of time and energy.

Great when it works

Never seems to have a connection when I need it.

Had the older version with my first grandson and loved it so I loaded this new while visiting my other grandkids and it worked great for 3 days and now it is all locked up and the stickers don't show up and you can't select your favorite character any more I'm very disappointed I'll have to delete it if these problems can not be corrected Nuts!!!

Extremely buggy. Just stopped working.

Keeps saying “Oops looks like we lost connection.” Nothing I do fixes it, including uninstalling and reinstalling. My daughter loves this app and so when it just gave out she was very sad.

Not good since last update

Not even usable since the latest update. At first right after the update it seemed I could only use if I had internet. Then all the saves were gone. Now I can't even use it as it keeps saying lost connection try again! So disappointed as I use this to get my 6yr old autistic nephew to brush his teeth. Now the routine is changed and he is struggling and we are back to battling the task. Aarrgghh!
