Salesperson told me to get a Sonos

Impactinvestor

Because of superior connectivity but I wanted to play audiophile and get the slightly better sound... Laugh at myself now every time I open this lame app. The funny thing is, it’s really not that big a deal to create an acceptable app, after you’ve put all this work into the tech in the speakers. And oh, you can’t just play music from the web... Oh, and it undulates down and up during every song at every beat, rendering the “great sound” useless. Waste of 1k but for some reason, can’t bite the bullet, write off the loss, and go buy other speakers for the bedroom.

Update the app please

t_miller99

This app needs a huge update. Not only with my iPhone X do I still have giant bars at the top and bottom of the phone, but it just feels like old software. It looks like the music app when Apple first released the iPhone. To top it off, not all songs are supported on the app. I try and play songs through the app to my Micro bar and it tell me “this file is not supported”. I feel as if it has something to do with purchased music vs music downloaded through Apple Music. I’ve also heard that other def tech speakers to place around the home or add them as rear speakers to the sound bar is not recommended because the app cannot keep them connected to the network. If you’re trying to do whole home audio or have a wireless surround sound system, just do Sonos. It is so much easier and doesn’t crash every 10 minutes. Please please please update this app.

Worked fine up till this morning.

It worked ok as a streaming app up until this morning. Now app crashes upon start up. Can't listen to anything on my definitive device! Please fix soon so we can have music in our house again! Thanks.

Terrible app

Yes speakers and sound bar sound great when the stay connected, and yes I have a new router and modem, ready to trash the WStudio sound bar and my W7 speakers, you pay a lot for something that works half way. Can you guys please update and why no blue tooth or Alexa abilities, get with it and update to the competition! sad sad sad

X1 and Definitive Technologies Micro bar

1929ster

Has anyone solved the problem of controlling a definitive technologies studio micro sound bar volume with the X1 remote? It really is a PITA to use 2 remotes to watch TV. I can control it with my phone with this app but that’s a bigger pain. How about with the Echo?

Worked okay, but now crashes upon opening

TwoDeuces

I’m not sure what patch is making this app fail now, but it has left me with very expensive dust collectors in my house. Please fix this as soon as possible. I have an iPhone 6 running iOS 11.2.5. It stopped working when on 11.2.2.

Back working again

Stump jumper 2013

Software push, working again. Thank you! Wireless is tough, poor internet at home from Telcos will ruin the experience but it’s not DT fault. Constant tech bugs needing to be fixed.

Needs lots of improvements

V VARGHESE

No favorites, limited channels, sluggish response, etc Def tech w7 & w9 are phenomenal but this app and features are handing over the market to Sonos.

Something wrong once a day

Ed3542178954

At least once a day with this app it can’t find my devices and asks me to go through the process of setting them up all over again. The volume slider is unresponsive, as well as the rear speaker adjustments. Aside from the app, I still wish I had never bought these speakers. The rears seem to always disconnect and constantly have a popping sound coming from them due to a bad wireless connection, despite having a pretty good router and internet connection in the same room.

Love it!!

This app has improved greatly since a year or two ago! I can easily play Spotify from any of my Definitive Technology speakers in my house. The app is intuitive and easy to use. Two thumbs up!
