Was great

It was a great app, but for some reason they had to put all kinds of new features trying to make it a really great. (Had to get rid of iCloud) Made PDF copy my entries and deleted app.

Love

Moved my journaling to Day one over a year a go and sync between devices. Love it! I have several different journal types and love that it will let me load pics and then take the date the picture was taken! I love now that I have been doing it over a year that I read from past years! Glad I swapped to a dedicated journaling app! Awesome!

Major bug fixes are needed

Tris Velocrite

I enjoy this app and have been using it for a year, but suddenly it sometimes crashes itself and the search function doesn't work. I'm on an iPhone 6 and the search engine only searches certain entries. Please help :(

Slightly upset

Lovedbygod_1

Just download this app today for my iPhone and iPad so far it's a great app. The interface is crisp, user friendly, and easy to use. I have not tried the Apple Watch feature yet but will test it out later today. I like the ability to set a reminder because my day can get busy at times and this will help me wind down at the end of the day. Now, you are wondering why my title says slightly upset. Well that is because the Mac version is $30!!!!!! I work between all devices at any given time and it would be great to be able to journal on any device but not for $30!!!!! Apple really needs to work on this!!! I might have paid an additional $4.99 for the Mac version but $30?!?!?! No!!! Please fix.

I Love it more with every entry!

I have been using Day One for a few months now and have found many details that I love. My latest discovery of moving an entry to a different journal made me decide to write a review. I used to use and love Max Journal, but they stopped supporting it, so bugs will remain forever (couldn't delete a journal). Day One fills all of my needs for a journal that can include work, home, health and more.

Great journal app

Brett (Xander)

This app is great to compile events in your life or just jot down your daily activities. I also am using it to note my fitness activity. Like how I'm feeling during the workout, what I did that day or goals I have. Plus adding photos is great. I'll would give it 5 stars when they add video functionality or the ability to direct link to Dropbox. Overall, though, it's a great app.

5/5

Everything from ease of use to design to reliability deserves 5 stars. Love using this app for personal journaling and songwriting.

Expensive but worth it on the long term

Al Waeli

I bought the app when it was 10$ or so. But I felt that it was not complete without the Mac version, which is quite expensive. With the 2.0 version, I bought both and am using it not only as journal but also for note tacking. The only time I wrote most about myself is when I used Day One. I hope its secure enough to hold all your secrets in it!

Works well
