With so many great apps leaving the App Store (like Vesper) I would be so sad to see Day One go. Please continue to be awesome forever. ❤️❤️❤️

I have attempted to write in a journal but couldn't remember or couldn't find time but I can do this waiting in the doctors office or in the pick up line at school. Perfect.

I'm using Day One on my iPhone 6 Plus and it has worked very well for casual journaling. I can organize memories and add pictures and comments so I can remember those small, fun joys of life. A great part of this app is that you can open multiple journals, making this a great songwriting tool. Make an entry, type a line or two, and revisit later. I haven't lost any data or experienced any issues other than a few minor design issues that deal more with personal preference than anything else. Been a user since Jan 2016.

Don't get me wrong I use Evernote and OneNote a lot but DayOne is just so simple and its dedicated to marking down every day that you put in entries instead of manually writing the dates yourself. The only thing it's missing is importing audio (MP3 from Dropbox, Safari, Etc). Also I use this with Workflow and IFTTT more collaboration with these two softwares and you have the perfect app.

I've always failed hardcore at keeping up with journaling but this has helped me a bunch with staying consistent. It's nice to have my journal handy with me wherever I go so I can even write when memories are fresh. I do also appreciate being able to protect my thoughts with a password/touch-ID :)) I still haven't used any of the other features of the app yet but soon I shall ?

I have Day One on my Mac, iPhone and iPad and I love them all. It's perfect for capturing a moment, documenting the story of things and many other personal stories. And, thanks to Markdown, I'm not afraid of losing these stories when technology leaves today's apps behind.

I had the previous version which I used all the time but went for the upgrade so that I could upload more than one pic at a time. I also like the choice for different "journals" to separate work and home.
