Best weather app I've used

Toddman1985

You won't regret the purchase. Predicts rain very accurately... it tells you the weather pretty dang precisely. What else could you want?

Best weather app yet

Accurate to the minute. Totally worth the download!

Great at home and when traveling.

This app is simple to use. I use it both at home and when traveling. Easy to check the daily weather and with the flick of a thumb, weather for the week. Also like being able to look at the globe at some weather patterns. For any naysayers, if I want really detailed info, I’ll go to NOAA or similar. For quick and easy, this is my go to app.

Used to be more accurate

Dark Sky just to be exactly as it's advertised. However, the forecast has lately just been wrong most of the time.

No Good Anymore

Nimly Wort

With a heavy heart I’m deleting my Dark Sky weather app because it can’t even report the current temperature half the time. Just 2 days ago it was snowing and this app said it was raining.

Extremely Localized Accurate Reports

Used to no on this for my work as a photographer. Now I use it to know when it will be a good day to grill or driving to another location. Very accurate often to the minute.

One star for being super pretty, but the accuracy is zipsquat.

The entire point of my spending $3.99 on this app was up to the minute rain notifications. Rain comes fast and furious here in New Orleans and I had high hopes of preserving my patio cushions. I set up my notifications to alert me to the slightest hint of rain but OOPS! Heard the pitter patter of A LOT of raindrops, ran to the window and it wasn’t just sprinkling. It was pouring. My bad, I think. Must’ve done the notifications settings wrong. NOPE! Dark Sky says it’s clear and the rain is 74 miles northwest of me ?. No way it could be THAT wrong, I think. So I check their adorable precipitation map and yep! Sure enough there is rain off in the distance, except that in reality it’s soaking my patio furniture. Weather Underground, The Weather Channel and plain ol’ iPhone Weather app all had it 100% on the nose as “rain begins at 7:30pm” for my exact location. Eh - the furniture will dry out but I really would like my $3.99 back. I have no use for a weather app with zero accuracy.

very good app

weather in Colorado can change quickly day to day. this app is great. sometimes the temperature can vary a little to other weather apps but it gets precipitation timing accurate every time which is what i really need

Rarely works

Presto_Mobe

I rarely get accurate weather alerts. When I zoom in, the weather lay-over effect completely disappears. Running an iPhone X on Verizon. It would be a cool app if it were more consistent, but since I’ve had almost no alerts for incoming rain/snow in 2+ years..... save your money folks! Perhaps it works better in larger cities... 0/10

So helpful

I like the ease of opening this app and knowing, at a glance, what to expect in the next hour. It is not 100%, but close enough that I am confident I won’t be surprised.
