This is my favorite weather app! It tells me what the weather is in MY neighborhood and that is priceless!

The UI is well organized eye candy with a low surprise factor, but the application is a true battery hog, while you can't quite watch your charge level tick down it's suprisingly close to that and as such one doesn't really want to leave this thing running in the background. The real issue is that it draws data from Dark Sky, which despite it's claim to "down-to-the-minute precision" is typically grossly at odds with the actual observed weather, particularly with respect to precipitation events.

AWSOME!! it has a map of the world. It also tells you the tempreture of the next day too. And the day after that and the day after that too. My mom loves it. That is why I rated it 5 stars. It is awesome. Thanks Henry Hoffman My mom has the app too.??? Oh, and when I'm old enough I'm going to buy it too.

I know weather can be unpredictable and I expect weather predictions to only be accurate half the time. This app is as good as the others on my iPhone and it’s pretty much in line with my local television forecasts too. Sadly, it’s not the magic -correct-to-the-second-always-accurate-app u was hoping for....
Useful but Daily notifications unreliable

Dark Sky mostly works well and is amazingly accurate. The rain predictions are within a few minutes. Notifications are unreliable. I have Dark Sky on two devices and Notifications are set exactly the same on both. The Notifications I receive are very different on the two devices which are in the same location. The next-hour notification is rarely at the same time and sometimes appears on one device and not the other. The Daily Report regularly appears on one device but not the other. Custom notifications also differ. Turning off the Daily Report made the Custom Notifications appear on one device. The reverse happened on the other device. I have reported this strange behavior several times and received no remedy.

For years I have hopped from weather app to weather app aiming to get as close to a no-fluff weather app that quickly conveys the current weather at any given moment. I was met with changing interfaces that only got worse filled with features that really didn't work for my lifestyle. I used the website for a few months and found myself using it on the phone more and more so i bought the app without hesitation. This app is worth more than it costs! Thank you everyone at Dark Sky. Your development team is amazing.
