Need assistance with Cujo security

A real shopper

I purchased this device from QVC with free subscription. Upon buying my own router(TP LINK), I needed help with setting it up. I had to use my computer and enter the info provided. After setting it up, the vendor was still signed into my account and showing under devices. I called and was able ( I thought to get it corrected). I changed back to Comcast and am now using their XFI only to have someone named MURATA show up on my account as VENDOR. I sent a previous email and it went away. Hours later it was showing on my account again. And I never received any alerts after hooking it up again. So I’ve unplugged it and even tried deleting the app, only to find out it doesn’t let me download it again. I paid a lot of money for this device. There should be a method to contact you other than email. If you’re still selling it on Amazon, surely you still have customer support. Please respond with a phone number

Needs work

I have two main issues with Cujo, both of which I have raised directly with the company weeks and months ago. They seem like nice enough folks but haven't addressed either issue: 1) Cujo often needlessly alarms you with vague alert language, leaving it unclear whether your network has been breached or not. Most of these alerts are irrelevant, just bots scanning ports, but you would think you were under full scale attack according to Cujo. Multiple times a day. No way to tell what's important or unimportant. 2) Cujo continuously blocks legitimate Nest cam connections. Every time my Nest cam stops working, it is Cujo blocking it and requires intervention with the Cujo app to get it to work again. So a useful product but one with problems.

Still Works...

Still Works and my mesh WiFi router detected no intrusions after I reinstalled Cujo last month.

Application Password Won’t Update

J Thomas DSGN

Issues include the following: Password update provides error message, “Help” section located in the footer of the application provides a connection error message. After contacting the support team I was told to update to the most recent app version released. After doing so I still experience the same issues. I visited the company website and cannot locate any existence of the CUJO home product. It’s kind of a bummer because I’ve had this product for nearly 2 years.

Good product, more features needed

SuperheroSmith

I have been using CUJO for a while now. Overall it’s a great product. I would like to see some additional and almost critical features: 1. The ability to actually block YouTube, and not just the site that no one in the house uses to access it—they all use an app that can’t be blocked! 2. Time restrictions, not just time-of-day restrictions. Allow me to cut off access after X number of hours.

Ok device. Frustrating app experience

CmyNickname

I generally don’t leave reviews. But I’m frustrated enough to write a review for this app. It has not been optimized for performance and has a great lag between page navigations. One needs to tap atleast 3 or 4 times before the page moves back and forth on most pages of this app! Help page in the app takes you through a continuous login loop. The CUJO app, it looks like, has been written by some one who has no experience in app development. The app design has no emphasis on quality or customer experience. Software quality control processes appear to be none or limited. There is no support for troubleshooting, viewing live traffic detail beyond a screenful of IP addresses, not suitable for any one who wants to be able to have some additional information on what is happening with their device. There are so many other things I can go on and on. Frustrated! The only saving grace so far is the hardware device seems to be working ok with its default setting, if you can accommodate all the app issues.

Excellent Product If Foreign Gov. Hackers Aren’t Already In Your Devices

WearyHuman

Having lived with 8 years of cyber terrorism and begging for help from the obvious American Agencies, most definitely in the know, I learned that there are no cyber experts and we are 110% responsible for our own protection. Hence, artificial intelligence made sense to me, and the support staff most excellent and truly understanding of the cyber nightmares most have not yet experienced. Unfortunately, my cyber terrorists are government sponsored and incredibly superb in cyber raping and terror, thus they can circumvent even the toughest encryption and security, but as a survivor I still will not give-up on doing the absolute best I can. Thus, I am incredibly impressed by CUJO simply because it does stop more than the mainstream internet provider in America and again, the staff is shocked by nothing!!!!

Great app and support

Matthew Loose

Great all around. Works really well and protects my devices. I wish the app had more options and functionality, and that there was a web interface. Otherwise, it is near perfect.
