Locked up!

I was near the end of Flora & Fauna near level 160 & the game is locked on the startup logo. It’s been near a month. Wrote customer support.....crickets. I’ve tried rebooting my operating system. Everything except uninstalling & reinstalling. I don’t want to start back at square one. If this would bother you, don’t get this. It got 2 stars because I really liked the game. ?☹️

Tokens? Not consistently

It is/was fun challenging “the old brain” every once in awhile. But you can’t depend on really being able to collect your tokens. At first it was pretty infrequently, however when I reached Group 215 it really doesn’t like to give up the tokens. From Group 215 to Group 219 I have been unable to collect 9 tokens! Haven’t decided how much longer I am going to play or just delete this game.

I know that ads are necessary, but why so many, why so long and the same ad all the time. Is there a need for 30 second game ads? 15 seconds is enough to get the point of the game across. Also, I have founds games that don’t match the same games in the online CodyCross online answers. It’s frustrating when the answers can’t be found either your help or from the internet. It would be nice if I trusted that people at Cody Cross read these reviews and tried to fix or st least change. I’ve been playing this game for a couple of years and I’ve noticed that not much has changed since my first review. If I could I would now rate this game with 2-3 stars.

The game is set up to attract younger players but the puzzles are set up for older players. Also some are super easy and some are impossible to get only Bc the decided to use the least most popular name for what the item is. like a table saw they called a buzz saw and I’ve never heard of anyone call one that, even my boyfriend who has a degree in carpentry was like I’ve never heard that. They just use weird wording and I got irritated and deleted the game.

Too many " out there" questions

Some of the clues are so way out of normal knowledge I would never guess the right letters. Ex: New Mexico Lobos playing field.....never heard of them, can't find answer that fits. Too many " wasaaaay out there" questions. I like a challenge but this is ridiculous!!!

The fun of crossword puzzles comes from the fact that answers CROSS EACH OTHER (hence CROSSword) and share letters, without that, what is the point? I mean, to each his own, but the name is misleading as this is nothing like a crossword puzzle.

It is frustrating when it shows Get Token and I click on it, it will not open! Why is this happening! I have a friend that plays also and she said the same thing is happening to her! I really love the game but curious to know why this happens! I would like to get the tokens when they are available! Also I think it would be helpful when the answer is more than one word that the clue would indicate that!

HOWEVER, in the past and particularly this last time I played the “get 3 free tokens offer” scammed me and I had to delete the entire app to get back into the game! It has happened before this time was the worst I was unable to exit out of the ad I deleted Cody cross and reinstalled but guess what? Lost all my tokens!! The worst part about this time was that it was an ad for some thing I would never in a million years download or play!!! ? Yup, pretty ticked off... I’d it ever happens again I will delete app FOREVER!!!!! Otherwise game is fun!!
