Just Amazing!!!

AlexP916

This app deserves 5 stars!!! I almost forget that I'm not in a desktop. I was a bit scared since I seen like 2 or 3 comments saying it was buggy and crashed, but it's working flawlessly. Maybe they already fixed the bugs since I purchased it this week, or maybe it's because I'm on a iPad Pro. Nonetheless, I recommend this app for developers. A must have! One request to Panic: Can you consider adding an option to minify a CSS & JS file, maybe with YUI Compressor. I tend use this on Netbeans a lot (every time I edit CSS or JS) would be great to see Coda with that option.

Fantastic App

Great on everything from the iPhone to the iPad Pro. It's amazing what Panic have been able to do with this app!

Buggy

Nicojr

Just bought this app and was excited to use it. However, it keeps crashing on my iPad Pro when I am editing my CSS file. Every time the curly braces auto-complete, the app hangs and eventually crashes. I'll rate it five stars if not only for this issue.

Frequent Crashes

I love this app and it is amazing, although when ever I create a CSS stylesheet I can type everything thing in but when I put an attribute in it will just crash and it will not save my work, so I just recommend fixing

Fills the void!

Guys, thank you for making a sorely needed product. Whoever it was at Panic that took the initiative to push this through deserves an e-handshake. Couple this with the Prompt 2 app, and foldable Bluetooth keyboard and you're an ultra mobile development powerhouse.

Good but not bug free

Mazen Zoon

During my limited use it crashed three times. Which is too much for my liking. Also the html preview tool doesn't fetch external CSS :/. However, it got decent features and it seems to be the best code editor on iOS

It looks good

It might be a wonderful program, but I'm not able to get it to connect! I went to Panic's main website and found the desktop version is $99.00 available from them. It says it can connect using Ftp but I can only find SSH connection and not clear on how to enter the key or connect to my site on Godaddy. They have upgraded to version 2.5 not sure what version I downloaded.

This app is off the hook

If you are a web developer wondering if you can do your job on the iPad while on the road, the answer yes and Coda is the way. This is an amazing app and nearly as good as it's Mac counterpart. Buying Prompt and anything else by these guys to help support the great work they are doing on the iPad. Update: Still astounded, but there are a few glitches I'd love to see fixed. Syntax Highlighting gets goofy after a while and I have to reset it. Still 5 stars because... There's nothing out there that even comes close to how great this is.

Crashes often, no PHP preview

This would be perfect if it didn't crash so much (iPad Pro, iOS 9.3) and if PHP was supported in preview mode.

Too buggy

I've been a user of textastic and it didn't have split screen support for ipad pro. Decided to go with coda and check it out. Initally everything was fine, but now the app doesn't connect to any of my sites. Was very excited at first but have gone back to textastic now that they have added the split screen feature.
