This is the first review I’m ever writing for any app because writing reviews usually annoys me. However, I just had to for this one because it is absolutely amazing. It helps not only organize my thoughts and moods but also offers quick assessments of cognitive behavioral therapy. I love being able to jot down my thoughts and quickly go through a list of whether I’m self blaming, labeling, minimizing the positive or catastrophizing, rather than sitting for hours trapped in my negative thought spirals with no sense of structure or way of snapping back to reality. Review : The only reason why I gave this app 4 stars is because I wish it offered more choices for “emotions.” For example : “lonely” or “heavy” aren’t options when you choose a sad face emoji to describe your current state. Also, the emotions for bad/worst and sad are the exact same which is unrealistic. Even the neutral face is associated with only negative words. Basic words like “confused” doesn’t exist. This is extremely crucial because the people who use this app are the type who probably have trouble identifying their emotions and thoughts so the lack of emotional range may further alienate or misidentify what’s going on inside of them. It makes me feel more repressed not being able to express myself honestly, truly, and accurately because the words I’m feeling don’t exist as options on the app. It might make some people ignore subconscious emotions going on deeper inside of them because they weren’t even able to see it as an option on the list of available emotions to identify with. It makes me feel limited and even more frustrated. Suggestion : Please add more emotional range as it would really enhance your app and expand the quality of emotional life for the people using this app. If it is a hassle for the developers to include such a wide range, please include the ability/feature for users to add their own emotions and categorize them. Emotions have such an infinite range and are quite complex that I don’t expect the developers to include thousands or even hundreds of them but it would be extremely helpful to allow us to add our own emotions that might be missing from your list and I get the sense that it will make even more people want to use your already helpful and amazing app. Thank you so much for developing this app. It is absolutely great! If you take my suggestions into consideration, it would be a 7-10 star app.

Ok?!!

Wow. I recorded my second thought for the day. And was really beginning to line the app. The second thought reflection was pretty extensive. After pushing the submit button both of my daily thoughts mysteriously disappeared which leaves me with another emotion to write about because now I am mad. Sheesh.

Great but wish it had a couple more details

I use this app all the time with phone savvy clients, and I don’t know anyone whose emotional intensity doesn’t change after making it through a whole entry. I wish the level of distress before and after was still a selection option so people can see a quantifiable change. I also wish justification/rationalization was a thinking error. My clients struggle with coming up with challenge statements on their own, I wish they had a few generic options to start from.

iPhone app

I noticed this app on Android is much better with more questions and brainstorming to think about. I was disappointed to see only two sections to fill out and buy pro suggestion on iPhone.((

Has potential; off to a good start

You have the potential to be a go to app but you do not reply to your email. This creates anxiety ?. With suggestions from your users this app would be great. It is incomplete. Your users with anxiety issues like mine will understand. Now not worth an upgrade or subscription. Could be in the future. Listen, Listen. Please. Listen. I want to so much use and be able to recommend.

Great app

Easy to use and quite handy. With just a little practice, this becomes a great way to quickly track things during the day. Two things that would improve it. The first is having a section with definitions for the various cognitive distortions. It assumes a baseline knowledge. The second is a better way of downloading all of the information. It would be better to do it in bulk rather than buy single entry.

Can’t see details

For each of the last 4 days, I have added in a paragraph in the details section. Now when I go back and try to review, the details paragraphs are not visible

Very helpful

I really like this app. It’s a great framework for learning to practice cbt. It’s great to be able to go back to old entries and see how things change over time. I also like being able to send an entry to my counselor. It would be awesome to add a “body sensations” list. Or a section where a person can describe their body sensations. Practice observing body sensations helps with identifying emotions. For now, I just include observation of body sensations in the description.

Helping with anxiety

This app is so easy to use, and the prompts available helps clarify how I can get out of negative thought patterns. It’s really helped my daily life and I feel very fortunate that this app exists.
