Won't save

It will save with just a title but after typing everything it won't save again. Good interface but saving needs fixing to be functional .

Helpful, easy to use app

This thought record is simple and clean. I found it easy to use, especially with the prompts, rating scales, and "challenge" suggestions. Great app!

Good

Good app for anyone who is trying to rationalize their thoughts and attempt CBT. It provides a summary of all limited-view thinking which helps if you forget or are new to this. Only bug is that the selection of cognitive distortions tends to stick to past distortions when you are journaling a new one. You have to then unselect the distortions.

Simple and good!

Nicely done and easy to use. 2 suggestions: 1. The date of an entry is not editable. I'd like this to be editable because sometimes I can't get my thoughts input the same day. 2. When the title of an entry is edited, the title on the list view doesn't change to match. It would be nice to see this fixed. Thanks!

Great start on "iMood" log app (Burns CBT technique)

5 stars if these feature requests are added ... EXPORT: I'd like to see ability to export to email -- single sheet or multiple ones. Perhaps upload to cloud such as Drive or Dropbox too where you and therapist can share access. INTERFACE (Distress): In the app, it would be more helpful if the "Distress" was listed not as a single score overall but with slider beside each emotion. It would be great if this was done at beginning and end. THX! Thank you for making this. Please keep improving. Maybe some of the more complex add-on features can be an in-app purchase for those few who want this ... or just want to thank you for your efforts. I feel better already. ;-) Tom

Love it

Social worker here. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because it needs more feeling words. Adding more feeling words would be a great improvement with little effort involved. There could even been sections of happy, sad, mad, ect and then more words underneath those that go along with the severity of those emotions. Besides that this app is great. Regardless if the feeling words don't improve this app is worth getting.

Love this app for CBT!

I am a social worker and love this app, it is fantastic for clients to log their automatic thoughts. I couldn't give 5 Stars because there isn't a way to share their diary or export the content. If that function was added, it would be perfect!

Therapeutic

I found this really helpful because it guides you through the process of challenging negative thoughts over positive ones. And I found that writing the process out helps more than just saying it to myself.

Good functionality, accessibility issues

I wish I could use this app. I need a convenient way to log and process my thoughts for CBT, and this app has the perfect functionality for that. Unfortunately, the interface design is a dealbreaker for me - the text is far too small and won't use the iOS system font size. I can use the iOS zoom for reading, but it's not very useful for text entry.

Good app

Good app to practice new thinking and reduce distorted thoughts.
