Why can’t I silence jabber?

Ringtones don’t include silent mode. I have to turn of my phone ringer completely if I want to silence jabber only

So many issues. Calls don’t come through, only “missed call” notifications. I’m lucky if the voicemail server connects. Receive 10 pop ups in a row “invalid certificate”.

We need another update. The app has been acting up for awhile now. Please update the app soon.


Frequently refuses to login at work when leaving. Very frustrating.

Seems to have issues after signing out on corporate WiFi at work to sign back in before leaving work. Able to sign in over LTE before leaving for work. Then once at work use corporate WiFi since LTE is weak. So sign off then as will start the Windows Jabber on PC. Then try to sign back on iPhone Jabber on WiFi before shutdown PC. Worse the reset option disappears and locks login for timeout. Waited this time after timeout still wouldn’t login...Then when save an outside number with a dialing prefix symbol like + it doesn’t save the dialing prefix so causes a wrong number. So have to edit the save to add the dialing prefix.

The worst experience ever! Every single time during a call I switch to another app to make a note or read details from an email, it crashes and disconnects the call. Consider using other apps.

I answer from the app and then the app drops call claiming needs to reconnect. Happens frequently


Never works when using from iphone 12 for more than a week

I have no problem answering Jabber or calling, from Jabber but I can’t hear the other party and the other party can’t hear me. The fix is to uninstall and reinstall on a weekly basis until Apple updates its iOS.

The app closes or resets chats regularly. I need it to be open 24/7 and I just can’t trust it. I just bought the flagship iPhone with more storage than I need in the hopes that this would help. It didn’t. At least 2-3 times a week I’ll have an alert of a new message, go into the app and it flashes then reconnects and all my chat histories are empty. It does not consistently show my presence accurately either which matters in my company. We need to use this for people on call and simply can’t trust it.


chat notifications stop working

My notifications for calls work fine, when i get a chat message I don’t get a notification. i have checked all my settings, also deleted and re-installed the app multiple times.
