Waste of money

Thumperjameslivedtommore

Worked for one month of free trial and them died after on month of a year long subscription. No support from Circle if you have a Netgear router, no support from Netgear unless you want to pay. Super frustrating!!!

Stopped working with my Orbi

Ihopethisisnottakenyet

My subscription is active, but the circle stopped working. Orbi can’t support, Circle points to Netgear. Save yourself the time and get a good solution.

App won’t after update

KSYShop

Circle tends to overkill and I have to move my devices out then back in all the time. It won’t launch at all after the 3/21/2021 update.

Great product and service

PKsteR

We have this built in to our router (Netgear) paired with Amazon fire tablets and parental control schedules, and it works really really well. I would advise talking to the kids about changes and expectations as it can be hard for some to grasp why this is a necessity now days. Great service simple to use/setup but in the end it needs good parenting to be effective.

Not worth it

trevbot91

App rarely works they way it is meant to. Entire system is easily bypassed by children who are smart enough to do a google search on how to defeat the circle app. The app takes forever to setup accounts and will randomly delete the accounts you made for your kids resulting in you having to set them up all over again. Waste of time and money IMO.

Crashes when I try to ManageMy Account

AmoryF

No matter how often I upgrade this app, they never seem to fix the issue that the app crashes every time I go to Manage My Account. This happens on multiple phones, and even after reinstalling the app.

Great until the app stopped working away from home

Rosepearl

We have Circle on our Netgear router. It has worked great for a couple of years. I even upgraded to premium a month ago and I like the options with the upgrade. The only problem is that I can no longer get the app to load when I am away from home. If I am at home where my network is, the app loads fine. As soon as I leave, my app says it can’t find my circle. This is very inconvenient as I can no longer make changes to the settings or give rewards when I am away from home. If I can’t figure out how to solve this problem, I will cancel my premium service and find another option for parental contros. ☹️

Useless now with the latest update

Nik333

I don’t know what the crap happened to the app but ever since Circle decided to boot older generations off, I cannot get the app the function on our Netgear. The settings page boots me right out of the app every dang time. I deleted the app and reinstalled the app, still useless. Now I cannot get back into the app. The pin has not changed since we set this Orbi up 6 months. When I try to log back into Circle - 20 times in a row it says, ‘wrong pin try again.” After fighting with the app for 2 weeks, it finally took the same dang pin after telling me 5 times, ‘wrong pin.’ Now, back to getting to the settings page.NOPE, still boots me off. Judas, fix your app!!!! Side note: if you’re a teen on here complaining that you cannot do school work or ‘I don’t know what I am allowed to do - go back to the mirror. The issue with you teenagers is we give you an inch and take a dang MILE. Abuse the situation and game 10 hours and wonder why people like me who don’t have children have to put up with other peoples kids not managing their time appropriately. Go kick rocks outside for a change.

Crashed and block my phone

Hgt4ever

First time running it and got stuck with allow location option. Didn’t let me out of it. Can’t even exit the app. Must use HARD RESET to get out.

Awful App

Dr HKG

Issue#1. My 17 year old has figured out how to turn off this app. He has figured out some way to get in thru a “back door” and disable the parental controls. Issue #2. I’ve had to reset my router a few times and this app doesn’t recognize that I already spent $49.99. I am just going to give up. Seriously, don’t waste your money, don’t waste your time.
