Pointless features

Be careful with this app, I ordered curbside pickup and was given a pick a time and no one ever came out. I had to go inside eventually to finally be told no one was ever going to come outside because they not doing the curbside pick up. Well if that’s the case why is even on the app as an option at all, makes no sense to me.

This app needs to get with the times

Pistolp0440

I have wanted to order here multiple times and do it quickly, but this app has to play 20 questions every time. They need to copy Chipotle’s app honestly. It saves the store, address, email, and recent orders, then let’s you with just holding down submit, order again and put in the card code. If they did that at chilis more people would order from their store. Make it easier chilis.

Times out too quickly

dmsrnbsn

Multiple times I’ve been placing an order and for one reason or another get timed out and open the app again but my cart is not available. So, I put the order in again only to have the cart pop up with the previous order as well as the new one.

Payment processing not working

salbou101

The very last step in the order workflow to process payment just spins for minutes without submitting and confirming the order.

A few annoying design quirks

bj00d

For example, if you’re in the middle of an order and leave the app, the app can return to the home tab which offers that you “start an order” and when you click order, it asks you to confirm your location, and only then can you click the unlabeled bag icon in the top right corner to see that your order is still there. It feels like “continue your order” could be on any of these screens. Less annoyingly, when entering payment info, you select the type of card you have, and then enter your card number, and if your payment method doesn’t fit the card number (based on the number pattern) the app tells you there’s a problem with your card number. But it could be a problem with the card type; it should highlight both fields. Moreover, if it has the ability to detect card type based on the number, why does it need to be entered? Unrelated to the app, I’d love to see plant-based chicken crispers on the menu, plant based chicken has come a long way! Love you Chili’s <3 Ben Papp
