No sure why ApplePay can he use to add to your “chick fil a cash” but not to make a purchase directly. Please allow Apple Pay for all purchases.

Today I wanted to try their own delivery service since there’s so much news about Doordash and Grubhub unfairly charging restaurants exorbitant fees. So I chose the delivery option from my local Chick fil A, and started adding items to the cart. Immediately, I noticed that the prices were higher than normal. For example, instead of $3.79 for the chicken sandwich, it was $4.89. Every item was priced higher. In addition, there was a $2.99 delivery fee. That just seems like double dipping. I’ve always hated delivery fees or “service charges” tacked on to delivery orders from the pizza chains because when they add such fees to the orders, it almost always takes money away from the delivery drivers. Chick Fil A is being downright greedy raising prices on food items, and charging a delivery fee for using their own delivery service where they don’t have to pay a cut to a third party service Delivery like Doordash. Just more profit for Chick Fil A, and less income for the delivery drivers.
