I would highly recommend chewy the customer service is wonderful I have ordered the wrong thing it being my fault not there’s but they still made it right and refunded my money gave me free shipping on the correct item and just ask me to donate the wrong item also there prices are very competitive with other stores I’ve only had one problem with shipping and that was on FedEx’s end but once again they accepted fault and gave me 15% discount on my next order once again I would highly recommend this company it’s great we even receive birthday cards for the animals from them.

Not only is Chewy my go to place for anything for my dogs, their customer service is impeccable! I had just ordered my dog’s prescription dog food which is EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE and had to put my dog down. I called their 24/7 support line to see if there was a way I could return my order. With no questions asked, they refunded my full order and told me to donate the food to a vet nearby. If that isn’t the definition of customer service I don’t know what is. I’m officially a Chewy customer for life.

Not very reliable. Placed an order for Heartgard and 3 days later my veterinarian had not received anything from them. I called Chewy and they for whatever reason had the order but never sent it to the vet for approval. Canceled and went to PetMeds. Within 45 minutes my vet called and told me they received it from PetMeds.

Chewy is great but I use the Auto-ship and I don’t know what’s up with this person , but my dog food bag has been busted opened a couple times and even short a bag and yesterday I came home to find 3 big boxes left in the rain and didn’t even bother to go up 4 more steps on to the covered porch to get them out of the rain , but they tapped a trash bag on the top box ?so my son came to get them inside for me and one bag of cat food was busted open and went all over the place and I haven’t even bothered to open the other boxes yet , I hope nothing else is busted open but at this point Iam scared to look!!!!!! Anyway I am very unhappy with them and I might go somewhere else. I have pictures but I don’t see anyway of leaving them on this review.

I find Chewy.com to be a great company in the pet category. Fair pricing along with great selection is definitely a winning equation. I find the design of the app to be difficult to navigate, and any videos within the app just appear as black panels on my iPad Pro 11" (Those videos playback just fine on the Chewy.com website). Though these weaknesses will not change my positive views and purchasing habits, I have to go into using the app knowing that it will not be a very pleasant experience.

I’ve been using chewy for a few years now and they are so wonderful. Anytime I have a question, they are so quick to help. Everyone has such great knowledge and I’m thankful for a company that cares about my pets too.


Shipping is not 2 days. Customer service lacking.

So every order I get is delivered within 4-5 days. The delivery ends up at my storage unit, the neighbors door, or blocking entry to multiple neighbors so they can’t get out of a common hallway. The package rarely makes it to my door. I can’t carry the package on my own so this is a big issue for me. They put multiple heavy items in one box and it’s impossible to carry. You can’t leave delivery notes on the check out, or your file. When I call to complain each week they say they will make a note in my profile about fixing their bad service, however I call again the following week and I get the response that there are no notes in my file about previous complaints! They don’t care!! Also they need more variety of quality foods. Low end brands. I canceled services because I can’t put delivery instructions on my checkout. Amazon, EBay, and any other service does this and those packages make it to my door. You’d think after weekly calls they’d care about this matter. Nope, they supported me leaving when I contacted them for the last time. It’s a shame they have that kind of people that work for them to say it’s okay for me to leave. No other package gets lost because delivery instructions help that much. They really do!

Chewy.coms customer service is top notch. I had an issue with a past order and I messaged them about it. Not even 20 minutes later I got an email back following up and making it right! And then some! Chewy.com is the best, their app is easy to use, their products are affordable, shipping is fast, and their customer service is incredible! If you have a pet, ditch the expensive trip to the pet supply store and use chewy instead!

It’s so rare to find a company that genuinely cares about their customers in these times. Chewy always goes above and beyond when you reach out to them and they even ask about your pets! All my orders always come within 1-2 days.

My mother and I recently lost one of our cats, a 1.5 year old female orange tabby named Pixie. It broke our hearts to lose her to a heart condition at such a young age. We spent in excess of $2,300 at the veterinary hospital trying to get her properly diagnosed and, we hoped, treated. But, after being seen by the feline cardiologist, he told us that even with surgery and then medication, it would only buy her another 6-8 months. My mother is retired and I am awaiting a pending disability claim, so we are on a very limited income. There was no way we could afford the estimated $5,500 surgery and recovery time at the hospital, or the $440 monthly medication following surgery. Furthermore, we did not think it fair to put Pixie through all of that when she was suffering so badly, just to buy US an extra 6-8 months with her. Ultimately, with the doctors’ agreement, we felt the kindest thing was to euthanize her and let her die peacefully. My mother and I, and her blood sister, Livy, were broken-hearted. When I emailed Chewy about removing her profile from the app, we received the kindest, most compassionate email sending their condolences to us. They also advised that rather than deleting her profile, we could archive it. About a week later, a knock on the door revealed a flower delivery person. I couldn’t begin to imagine who was sending us flowers. When I opened the attached card and read the most kind, handwritten note from Kadijah at Chewy, I was literally moved to tears! Because of their outstanding customer service and the depth of their caring for their customers AND the furry members of our families, my mother and I will remain Chewy customers for life!!!
