The reason I first came to this app was because I saw pengunz0 playing it and I thought it was cool so I download it and start playing. I had some prior knowledge to chess before I started using chess.com but not that much. So I play a few games and of course I lose because I was not good. So I went to the menu and I saw drills. And I did a couple of drills and every once and a while I did a puzzle. And once I started to do puzzles my chess game started to get better. So to wrap this up chess.com helped improve my chess game and it has a kind community

when making errors, sometimes the pieces reset incorrectly and i crash out or i have to restart the whole thing.

Once you get o we level 1400, expect 70-80% of the players you play to score 97%+ on their accuracy with automoves, meaning app has clearly done 0 to catch the people using computers and bots to win for them. Has been getting worse and worse and never a response to my reports, so I’m deleting the game and using another app with more integrity

Hadn’t played chess for many decades. I’m 65 and when I first star my head was spinning.. I’m playing the 10 minute matches and my game is improving. Most importantly I’m seeing the board better.

Most of the bad reviews in here are literally people that (1) don’t know how to play chess so they get frustrated (2) don’t have the patience to learn the app so they get frustrated. My recommendation to everyone is be patient, learn the game, then learn the app. Obviously I watched Queen’s Gambit and wanted to try to learn chess. This app is GREAT and the videos online are worth exploring. So many great resources.

Chess has always been an interest of mine and I love to peruse it. This app has helped me get better in chess in general. It has lessons, such as openings, endings, mid game, capturing pieces! It has everything, it gives you your level in chess, and matchmakes with someone with your level. Plus it has boys to train with. Overall great app.
