This IS the best chess app ever. It has so many features, very customizable, and you can play people within seconds. Great for playing “on the go”, you can do bullet chess and go up to 30 minutes on each side. There are lots of tactics and puzzles even in the free versions. Moreover, extensive articles that describe in detail about endgames, middlegame, etc. Super good resource and best chess platform.

For analysis and overall feel lichess is far superior. If you want to play with bots and have puzzle games then go ahead and pay for that. Not worth the membership cost, I’m sad I forgot to unsubscribe before the free trial wore off.
iPhone 10 overhead/battery drain issue

Great app, thanks to devs/creators! I wish the battery drain and overhead of iPhone could be solved . You can cook eggs on my iPhone after finishing game or two, and the battery drains so fast too. I would assume there is an issue with AI Assistant/analyzer that is constantly running and requires a lot of CPU power even when you play against humans.
App is fine: time limits stink

The chess app itself is good. I have no problems with it. Except one: it automatically forfeits a game if you run out of time. I can’t see a way to do an untimed match nor does it give you an option to force forfeit. I’ve lost a number of games now because I got busy or was traveling and couldn’t move. It’s infuriating.
Chess is simply the best

There is no chess app out there that can compare. You have a lot of options and lots of learning! This app will make you a better chess player!
