Fun, but...

Glitchy! For a paid app this ought to be smoother. Little stuff should be fixed like you should only need to click the “Ready” once. And I’d like 6 player games thank you.

Hey Catan fam. I just wanted to let you know the rule of trading in four of a kind for a single card does not work. Pretty important part of the game, lol. I’m sure you’ll fix it

The dice rolls have to be more random. I’ve become fed up with rolls favoring the AI. When the algorithm does not like a human move, the dice rolls punish the human!

Number swap stopped working altogether. Dice are not random and when you are way in front of the AI’s your numbers will not come up or the AI’s will roll a ridiculous amount of 7s to deplete the resources you have. Very disappointed!

Great Game...So-So App

Been playing this board game for a while now, but just downloaded the app last week—and it really is just like the board game. HOWEVER...random, pointless, inexcusable glitches make this app not so fun. When you strive to collect (and hold onto) resources to build a vital road, then a glitch won’t let you click to build the road where you want it?! Extremely frustrating. This is disappointing & I really wish the app worked better. I’m surprised that the last update and “bug fix” was four months ago, especially with all these glitch complaints.

I really enjoy this game until the robber robs me EVERY time I have enough cards to actually DO something. It is ridiculous.

I really want to like this but it has some serious glitches. Whenever I move the robber (either with a 7 or a knight card) the game sort of freezes - all buttons disappear. I have to close out the app and restart it and click continue game to get back in and then the move you’ve just made is lost. So essentially, every time you roll a 7 you will have to close out the game and you can never play knight cards if you get them - super frustrating

A good port of the game, I would recommend it to fans of the original. There are some small things I would criticize about the interface (some icons too small, put a legend of the cost of resources on the screen, let us see the cost of a tile when a robber is on it), but those are minor.

Don’t waste your money on this app. The only number that gets rolled is 7. Even in the game statistics, 7 is the most rolled by a long shot. I once played a game where 7 was “rolled” six times! Not fun at all. When you’re about to win, 7 will get rolled until the computer wins. And, on some games when you’re on great numbers like 6, 8 or 10, those will rarely get rolled and 2, 3, 11 and 12 will get rolled all the time. And then the opposite happens when you’re on those low numbers. I’d rather play against me, myself and I on the board game instead of this app. All the computers do is buy development cards, that’s it. What wimps. No strategy, nothing. Just dev cards.
