Every time I try to log in just to view my account, I get the message that I will be send a code. When I click “send a code,” it says “something was lost in translation.” Finally received the “enter code” message however, I never receive an email providing me with the code. This is very frustrating g!

Updated: this app now can’t even connect to my account. It keeps saying something was lost in translation with accurate login or Touch ID credentials. ———————————————————- This app is improving at a turtle’s pace. I don’t get an error as often when trying to enter a price for a limit trade now. It still has a lot of room to go. It only works well for checking your portfolio and making simple trades. Options trading is more of a pain and there is very limited information for research. You can’t even set price alerts. They must be trying to end their investing platform rather than keep up with design & technology. I don’t recommend this platform for potential new customers.

99% of the time the app will not log me in and I just get the “something was lost in translation” error.

The application will not open after the latest iOS update. My app is updated, but no updates have been made since 3 months ago. Perhaps what used to be Sharebuilder, doesn’t want my business anymore.

$2 buck commissions more than the competition. No real time updates. This is grandpas buy and hold platform. Using this is as efficient as walking down the street to trade paper stocks just even more expensive. THE WORST TRADING PLATFORM EVER. PERIOD. UPDATE 12/22/17- NOTHING HAS BEEN FIXED!! Unbelievable! And now they can’t even get the bid/ask price accurate from one screen to another! I WILL BE CASHING OUT MY STOCKS AND MOVING ALL FUNDS TO ANOTHER PLATFORM. Shame on you Capital One.

Bugs galore. Won't let me cancel open limit orders. UI and UX are terrible. Symbols on the positions page aren't hotlinked. They even pulled the iPad app entirely because it was so bad. I can write a novel on the things wrong with this app. Seems like Capitol One just don't give af ever since they acquired Sharebuilder. Honestly thinking about migrating my assets to Vanguard because of their mobile platforms.
