2/4/18: I installed the update and the app still will not open. This app crashes upon opening. It hasn’t worked for several weeks now. In a pinch I tried to use the website from my phone, but it is not mobile-friendly. I am looking at other apps and will move my money soon.

The latest version just puts a warning that the account will transfer to Etrade everywhere. And I mean EVERYWHERE. You can't even check on your current positions anymore. Pure garbage.
Was the latest update EVEN TESTED?!?!?

Wow! I’d be fired if I rolled this into production. We get that accounts will be moved, but now I can not access all my accounts on the pull down and the new banner removed the “sign out “ option on the bottom of the menu. Good job, Morons. I can only hope that the E*Trade app is better managed.

I can’t choose my second account for viewing or investing. The message of moving to E trade keeps blocking everything else. This type of info should be removable after viewing.
E*TRADE notice breaks app

Whoever decided that the E*TRADE notice belongs in every single frame in the app has some serious explaining to do. I have screens where the notice takes up more room than all other content combined because it’s being repeated 3+ times. That’s right, the same exact verbatim notice is appearing 3+ times on a single screen (not even talking about scrolling to see the other notices—they’re all displayed at once). Because they didn’t bother testing this at all before rolling it out there are also functionalities that are completely broken. For example, I can’t see the last holding in any category on the Positions view. This is probably because the list is configured to display stocks.count items (or something like that) and they’re inserting the notice as the first row without incrementing the overall count. Which is unsurprising since that’s NOT WHAT THAT LIST IS FOR. Furthermore, they provided no way to dismiss the notice. I have read it dozens of times now. It no longer provides any value. It is nonetheless the majority of what I see on screen anywhere in the app. I cannot conceive of what whoever pushed this out could possibly have been thinking. It was an irresponsible, indefensible and absurd decision. They took a basically functional app and made it unusable.

Update 2-5-2018 Fix the app, we don’t need the Etrade alert on every page of the app! Can’t even look at a stock quote now, because the Etrade alert is jacking that page up, along with others. Cannot make trades, wheel just keeps spinning. Useless. Update 1 month later. Still cannot make trades during trading hours, only after the market is closed.
