So I tried this app at the gym today. Kept me going pretty good. Using it to force myself to warm up before hitting the weights

No Better than the Free Version

I paid for the distance/calorie tracking upgrade thinking it would map where I ran. It doesn’t. I run different routes and I’d like to be able to compare a route from one run to the next. Not at all worth $5.

This app is not worth the $5. The free version of this app is great for the iPhone. This paid version adds little value to the experience. I bought this version because of the Apple watch app, but it is worthless. You have to start the run using the phone and you cannot pause/resume your run from the watch. In addition, even if you choose to run with your phone you will not get notifications to start running/walking on the watch. I’m not just disappointed with this purchase, I’m actually angry.

After a week of using this it is clear for me gat this app is defective and provides little value. Music freezes, skips playlists, app freezes, app does not respond well to touch screen, etc. I have to say at this point I would not use this app on my iPhone for free, let alone pay $10/month.

I love this app. It has helped me to become a runner! I used to hate running but thanks to this app I now love it! I bought the pro version for my Apple Watch. Unfortunately, there are no notifications, vibrations, or sounds alerting you when to begin running or walking on the watch. I wish there were so I would not have to bring my phone with me when I run.

Still no fix for months old bugs

I just bought this app despite seeing bad reviews from September and earlier. This app is useless unless you have your phone open on the app. The notifications don't even pop up on the phone unless you turn on the phone yourself. The watch is constantly out of sync with the phone. The funny part is they say the updates come from the community in the app description. Well, it's been 9 months since the last reviewer who mentioned this problem and still no fix although they updated the app one month ago with optimizations. Poor execution for the app. Devs if you are reading this, please make this one change. Make notifications work please and this would be a 5 star app.

It doesn’t give prompts when my phone is locked so I don’t know when to run or walk and it doesn’t give a map of what you ran....very disappointed since I paid for the app! I generally don’t pay for apps and this is why!

I have used Get Running app for a while and my husband convinced me to try this one out so i paid the $4.99 for the Pro version. I don’t like how the voice doesn’t give you reminders or updates. In fact, 2 seconds into your run/wall is when she’ll tell you “Start running/walking”. It would be nice if she said, “get ready to run in 10 seconds......start running now.” And it would be nice if she could tell us where we are within the run “you have two runs left before we cool down.” Okay...so basically if it was just like Get Running, it would be better. Husband said the apps on the free version pop up all throughout your run. Husband also agreed that he liked Get Running app best. This does the job if you want to run, but it’s just not for me. Oh, well!

GPS WON’T STOP!

I love this app because it used to work great. I am now finding that the GPS will not stop once you are done. You literally have to go to settings each and every time and use location services and click “never” in the Location box for it to stop doing this. I had it on “only while using app”. That don’t work AT ALL. It will drain my battery if I leave it on.
