I downloaded this app to work with the FREDI FREDI Wifi Mini Wireless Small 1080p HD Portable Camera. The app for this camera is cumbersome, glitchy, and confusing. I’d be willing to tolerate this, but presumably due to limitations and bugs with the app, the night vision on the camera is unusable. What happens is that the IR-LEDs / night vision shuts off after a few hours regardless of how the schedule is set. So you basically can't use it to record to the SD card through the night--either continuously or after motion-activated alarms--which is why I bought the camera and downloaded the app. I tried working with tech support, but got nowhere. So I’m returning the camera and deleting the app. I’ll look for alternatives.

This app would be MUCH better if there was a better way to rewind, fast forward and pause recordings. When you do it with the time lapse, it jumps to random times.

The app freezes often and stops working more often than not while viewing live video. It is hard to delete recorded videos via the app - they just don’t delete. On the plus side, it does record and I have had no issues leaving the camera plugged in 24/7.

This product is very difficult to use. The directions are confusing, and frustrating. The Camera interface with the cell phone is marginally usable, the internal recording with the mini card has never worked. And there is no support for this product. Would not recommend. By a different product.

Have FAQs On Line up when reading paper instructions

Could not get install to complete so had to reset camera and start over. Ex: After initial connection it says to change factory password. What the paper instructions fail to include are password guidelines. Putting in any special characters halts further install, but you have to figure that out on your own. The on line FAQ page has that near the top. Now I know why they included a metal pin for resetting. Going to the on line FAQ page told of specifics for password limitations and other small but crucial details. Finally seems to work fine now. (small thing but this doesn't help one trust the details of its completeness for use... Installation Instructions seem to be converted from Chinese to English by a software program with no format proofreading for how Americans read. So there is no smooth easy reading to it. That alone makes you worry about it when it seems to lock up while correctly following their instructions. The OnLine instructions part is mandatory for a smooth install)

Extremely slow

After the last update this app is moving slower than ever. Has trouble logging in and doing playback. Even when I’m on the same network as the camera, the app has trouble functioning properly.
