I really enjoy this app but would be so much better if I could loop in my Facebook profile, as it is used to represent myself in my brand.

Too glitchy

smor88

Keeps giving me “sorry, something went wrong” when trying to set up my acc.

No Loyalty to ongoing customers

TW Smith

They get you in and then remove your plan. Coming soon they are preparing to once again change their plans and offer less to current customers. They did it couple years ago as they were boasting how they were feeding hungry children in some foreign country. HOW ABOUT HELPING THE CUSTOMERS PAYING THE BILL? 10/5/22 My subscription is up in January and they told me that they are not sure what they are going to offer us, but my plan will be gone. WHAT DECENT COMPANY CHANGES PLANS WITHOUT PRE-EMPTIVELY TAKING CARE OF CURRENT MEMBERS?? AGAIN!! Now I can’t use the last two months of my subscription because in January anything in the history will not be available to me.

It's faster to not use buffer

Bion Howard

I believe Buffer is a cool app, and I am sticking with it, but the whole reason for buffer's existence is to save us time. It takes 19 taps to share 1 article on Buffer. Sadly, and it takes half as many taps to share an article 5 times than it does to share 1 article on 5 channels with Buffer. This is because of the massive amount of unnecessary tapping buffer requires. You have to manually select the channels in a nested menu. You have to manually select an image in a nested menu. You have to manually copy paste a link into Pinterest. You have to manually tell it to crop the image for Instagram, and then nothing happens, so you have to manually crop the image and then manually post to Instagram anyway (so what's the point?) You have to manually hit an x on the image on Facebook channel. None of this requires fancy stuff, just sensible defaults.

App was excellent

BigBro50

This app was excellent. It was so useful that I even started paying the yearly fee for the upgraded version. About a month or two into my second year of paid service they changed their services and no longer allow me to copy content within the app from links to share to multiple platforms, etc. this feature was something I used a lot, and it’s very disappointing for them to remove a feature for paid users AFTER I already Paid. They shouldn’t be removing features they should be adding them. Needless to say I will NOT be paying for another years worth of this crap!

Okay, but still needs work

Boot from SC

I used the paid version of buffer a few years back where I could post to 10 accounts, and while that part was great, there are issues that still persist now while I’m trying to use the basic version. Here are the issues I experienced: The first, while I know that instagrams policies somehow keep buffer from posting multiple photos on one’s behalf, buffer needs to figure that part out to make it possible in some way. It defeats the purpose of using the scheduler and is not in keeping with the changing trends in social media. Second, I keep having to refresh the Instagram connection almost every time I close the app. That adds a level of unreliability to the app as one depends on the app posting on time, and when the refresh issue happens, it won’t post at all. Third, the location tag does not allow me to tag El Paso, TX or anything for that matter. Nothing comes up in the search for it. Even after the update. That’s all I have for now. I really believe this app has great potential over HootSuite and other apps, but these things have to get fixed.

Simple yet not suitable for to many accounts

Scottleotti

It’s a good app with lots of voices when it comes to social media scheduling. The app and website has a lot of non user friendly issues coming from someone that has 50+ accounts stored and used daily! It’s more made for under 5 accounts. I do like the simplicity, but there are bugs I find constantly. Not user friendly for a lot of accounts scheduling.

Not working with Twitter on iPad

HistoryView.org

Was working fine but now it won’t connect to our Twitter

Doesn’t connect to my social media’s

AnastasiiaBar

I had such bid hopes for this app but unfortunately, my social medias doesn’t link to the Buffet. I tap to + Instagram, then it brings me to the page where I have to connect my Facebook account. I choose the account and then it brings me to an app again. I tried multiple times. It doesn’t show any error. I’m using iPad Pro 4th generation and the last version of the app

Doesn’t let me do anything
