I made a reservation and it did not show up in the app. Five calls later, customer support said the app does not work the way it should. Find another car rental company that can work at the speed of business.

I am not excited by this app, because when I urgently needed a car for rent I faced some problems trying to rent a car through this very app. It has some inconsistencies. I was looking forward to using it a lot, but now I prefer another of the kind…

Can't return a car somewhere else

This is dumb. If you want to return your car somewhere else (one way), and the return location is sold out of cars that day, it won't let you return your car there. Pretty big oversight.

Imagine the best-written, most scathing review of an app you've ever read, and insert here. To sign in to the app you must create an account online. 3 types are offered, but you can't sign up for the simple one. Password rules are not stated upfront, nor does the website recognize two identical passwords as being identical (5 times in a row!) so you finally sign up for a whole different level of account than you wanted, enter your info in the app...and try again... App says your upcoming reservation will show up in the app ONCE YOU PICK UP THE CAR on day-of-rental. Really? Off into the cloud I consign it. Sigh...

Do not rent anything from budget. I repeat do not, unless you want in to be involved in outright negligence on the part of budgets franchise partners and their resolution team. I have overwhelming video and picture evidence of a dangerous truck that was rented to me that was then returned and rented out within minutes the next day to another party. Not only was the vehicle a liability and not inspected before it being rented out to me and to others from completely separate locations. The storage cab also leaked water on my belongings. After being in contact with level two resolution for over a week now. They have refused to inquire about any of my evidence and instead made a phone call, which they called an investigation, to the gentleman who rented the vehicle out again within minutes of me returning it. This gentleman promised that he had done the alignment inspection. I have a video of when I returned the vehicle of the odometer. The mileage that I returned it at and the mileage Brians Paint and Body Shop in Salina, Kansas rented it out at are exactly the same. Caught in a blatant lie they have refused any action and now I'm involved with American Express and a lawyer in getting just compensation for their outright negligence. my families lives and all my belongings were put at risk by budget rental company. This was the first time I had rented from them and this will be the last. I'm just glad me and my family are alive.

I'm a frequent renter from Budget, and I have never been able to get this app to work. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, I have even change phones, and still does not work. Every single time I go through the process of making a reservation, I get all the way to the end and push the reserve button, and I get an error message stating "unauthorized token". I have sent feedback after feedback after feedback, with no response and no resolution. I have called Budget customer service and they seem to be able to do nothing as it relates to the app. Beyond frustrating.

Does not work on my iPhone 7. I'm a frequent traveler, and this app has not worked once in one year of trying.
