This was recommended by a successful senior leader in my company. We were sharing our favorite brain hacks for our own personal development. I am an experienced meditator and user of the Monroe instrument products. I thought this product wouldn't rate high for me. To my pleasant surprise Brain.fm won me over very fast. I quickly bought the annual subscription. My favorite brain.fm category at the moment is the sleep track as it has helped me once again sleep peacefully with my husband who snores loudly. With the sleep track I sleep 7- 8 hours without my normal 1 -2 times up for bathroom visits and my husbands snoring rarely wakes me. For comfort it is necessary to use specific sleep headphones such as the SleepPhones brand. I already purchased those for the Monroe audio products. Focus has helped me with productivity in an open concept office environment when my colleagues get too loud and distracting. I am looking forward to putting Brain.fm through the paces for meditation soon. If you have trouble sleeping I would highly recommend this app and the paid service.

I used to have half a dozen white noise and iso beats apps. I got rid of the rest. This one does everything I want and the music is solid.

I very much enjoy the variety and focus the various programs have. It is a true boon to both focus/work time and relaxation. The meditation (especially guided) has even pulled me away from my beloved Calm app on several occasions. Don’t forget to check out “More Music” on the right-hand menu (in my opinion the placement of this is not intuitive). The Piano selections are particularly good.

I’ve tried a couple apps and this one by far gives me the most focus.

When I want to get stuff done, I don the noise-canceling headset and use brain.fm’s Focus tracks.

I have had no issues with reliability and am a huge fan of the meditation program. I’ve tried a few others (Headspace most notably) and this has been by far my favorite due to a more relaxed structure and variation. I also enjoy the focus program and although it took awhile to get used to the sounds, I do think it helps me get locked in.

I love Brain.fm but for some reason it tends to stop before the designated time is up. For example, this morning I selected 2 hours, but it paused 20 mins later. Otherwise would be a huge 5 stars!

This app really helps me focus while studying, however, it can honestly be replaced by running YouTube in the background. And there appears to be no online version or Windows version (correct me if I’m wrong). I would highly recommend to try it out for a month if you have trouble focusing like me. It is definitely better than listening to classical music to focus.

Like others have mentioned, the stream is constantly disconnecting and i have to reopen the app to get the music playing again...Other than that i like the focus music while I'm working.

I really enjoy this app a lot. I use it for focus at work, for occasional afternoon naps, and for getting to sleep at night. It works for me as advertised. I have had very few issues with the app and the fairly regular updates and additional songs and moods keeps it interesting.
