This app has helped me

khinnenk

I am a paying subscriber, it does not always work the way it is supposed to but when I can connect I really enjoy the app

Lifesaver for sleep

Shakemybonbon

I use this app every night when I’m going to bed. I love that I can turn my phone onto airplane mode but still listen (download the track and use on offline mode).

Big fan!!!

Slatts11

Use the guided meditation and focus programs daily and think they are great! I’ve noticed a big jump in my productivity at work and feel more relaxed and attentive throughout the day. I don’t download and have had zero connectivity problems. Bought a 1 year subscription and will be upgrading to a lifetime.

Rough Start but Now Amazing

I’m a paid subscriber and the subscription is absolutely worth it. I have adult ADHD and being able to turn on focus was super hard for me. Using Brain FM has given me a tool that allows me to turn on some pleasant sounds or music. They now have a large variety of channels that could be better used to fit the listeners mood. Recently channels like Piano and Grooves were added and both really changed how I listened to the service. I use both web and mobile applications. In the earlier days, the mobile was lagging behind but in the last 6 months, the mobile is very much on par with the web. I genuinely like this service and I’ll keep paying for it. It has really helped me focus on my tasks or relaxes me through the meditation. Totally worth it.

Awesome for meditation and work

Tolooee

I use this app 7/10 times when I meditate and work, the 3/10 is to just switch things up a bit and change my atmosphere.

Amazing Product

We use this product everyday. I use guided meditation and focus. My son uses the sleep app to calm his mind. It’s a game changer.

Decent app, but developer has little integrity

The app works alright, but when you want to cancel your subscription they make it real difficult to do so. Subscribing is super easy though, I wonder why ?. Hate it when companies do this, it’s kind of criminal really, they must be desperate for money. Subscribe at your own risk. Still haven’t been able to cancel mine, hopefully I won’t have to jump through too many hoops to do so.

It’s effective. Buggy, but effective.

Overall, I like the application and serves it’s purpose. Yes, like many other reviewers I’ve had connectivity issues now and again. Downloading seems to never work for me either. That said, it’s also hard to imagine these are AI generated sounds. Many of them sound very similar to YouTube recordings that I listen to. With that behind me, I will tell you that I am much more effective in my work with headphones in and listening to the focus music while I’m working. I switch between different focus themes or sometimes allow the app to select for me. At times I can listen to it through speakers on my computer, however I will reluctantly admit it’s more effective with headphones. As a result, I purchased a lifetime membership. I anticipate it will improve significantly over time and they will continue to add different types of music/sounds.

Don’t fool yourself this is just music

Stalking cow

There is nothing special about their music. When you listen to it you won’t be magically focused in 15 min. The sleep tracks actually make it harder for me to fall asleep. You can pull up study playlists on youtube for free if you want music to concentrate, this app offers nothing special. All the science saying it changes brainwaves is likely hogwash because I am sure if you hooked someones brain up while listening to any music it will cause a change in brainwaves. These people are selling snake oil and try to use scientific terms and “studies” to market plain ole music that isn’t even that good.

Keeps getting better

Been using the focus tracks all through school for reading, as I am easily distracted, and they have made a huge impact on my attention (and retention). My sister uses them in class for her students with similar success. The team is quick to respond from feedback and questions, and they continue to hone and tweak to keep the music fresh. Expect this company to only get stronger as their relatively new app establishes itself in this particular vein of the increasingly popular “self-help” genre.
