Love this app. Use it daily.

JA Andrews

I am a writer, and I use this app every single day while I write. It’s almost magical how much it helps me focus. Highly recommended.

My got to for getting into my flow state!

I can work in the middle of a busy coffee shop with the ocean Focus playing for hours before I realize how much time has actually passed. FYI...I have an MD diagnosed ADD with a prescription but I will go to my Brain.fm first and on most days it is the only Rx I need. I don’t recommend for sleeping. Ha! Oh it works but my dreams were WAY to vivid. It totally backfired. Ha!

Changed my life!

Subtle and powerful

Have been using consistently for several months and found the app the very helpful. Focus takes a day or two for its effect to be felt. However, once it kicks it it yields a consistent and sustain push to your mental energy (which stays with you even after you turn off the app). Meditation is very effective as well. I use focus for at leasts 3-4 hours per day and use meditation 4-6 time per week. Would highly recommend this app for anyone trying to start a regular meditation practice. Wonderful app!!

I am surprised by how much I like it

I use while I work. It is fantastic.

Works really well most of the time.

I actually recommend this app all the time. I use it when I work, when I nap and when I meditate. I tried using it for sleep, but that’s where it doesn’t shine. My only complaint is the sound occasionally doesn’t loop perfectly (at least on the sleep cycles, so you get a gap of silence and then a sudden burst of sound that actually wakes me up! That said, it’s incredible for meditation and concentration. Using it for a 18-20 min nap feels so refreshing! I’d love if they produced more guided meditations, they are wonderful. I’ve been using this app for a solid year and I use it several times a week and will continue to do so

Great for Focus!

I enjoy listening to something while I work to help me focus. Classic music used to be my go to, but brain.fm works better would highly recommend for those looking to accomplish “deep work” in a world of increasing distractions.

So good!

Service issues, company doesn’t care.

IslandScribbler

Perpetually dropping the stream, regardless of whether I use a browser on a PC (3 different Browsers, in fact). iPhone, Bluetooth or wired. They have bad connectivity problems that the company doesn’t seem to care about. I am a paying customer who will definitely not be renewing. Every time I’ve emailed support, I get a blow-off reply of, “oh, we haven’t heard of any problems. What browser and OS are you using.” Obviously from the reviews, they’re just lying. My guess is that brain.fm has been so profitable that they just don’t care about customer retention. I can’t figure it out, but whatever. I don’t have time for BS like their support dishes out. I’ll move on to a better service instead. I gave them at least 2 or 3 opportunities to address my issues and they failed every time. The web site claimed “new songs are constantly being added.” This is not true. I’ve never heard a single new song. The “offline mode” only allows you to download a 30 minute track, which is useless for just about any application that I can think of. I wonder if the people responsible for this app ever bother using their own product. I can’t imagine that they do, because they would have noticed all of these problems and fixed them. I don’t understand. I wanted to love this app, but when a company lets me down as hard as brain.fm has, there’s just no way that I can. Whatever success you’ve had up to now will quickly be eroded by your sub-par technical support (and the way you just blow off quality issues). Good riddance.
