Integration not there yet

PaddyFult

The 300 with Alexa has powerful and great sound. BUT doesn’t integrate with SoundTouch products easily which is very disappointing.

Outsourced App

Arvhix

It is clear you are using an outsourcing firm for this iOS app. I suggest you consider app quality part of your core business and leave the outsourcing for things where you cannot differentiate in this space. If you continue to get this wrong, eventually people will lose all trust and the “why” in Bose. An app is not difficult, keeping the majority of customers happy isn’t either; Bose is getting both wrong when it comes to the NC700 Headphones. Maybe a lemon law would apply en mass if the device isn’t functioning as intended or advertised as Bose has yet to admit a SW or HW issue.

Update screw-up

Chill 3 Dawg

After the last update. The Bose universal remote no longer controls any of the peripherals I paired with it(DirectTV, Sony 3D blu-Ray, and Apple TV). I have tried unpairing and pairing again with no joy. Please fix!

App will not recognize my device

hewho

I can play music through my device using Bluetooth but I cannot get this app to find it.

Bad firmware.

Latest sound at update completely broke ARC functionality.

App works fine but time zone is stuck.

Fchixon

The app and the Bose 500 speaker work great. However, we can’t change the time zone. We bought it on the west coast and used then brought it home with us to the east coast and there appears to be no way to change the time zone on it. We were able to change the networks no problem using the online help, but time zone seems to be an issue. The forums seem to have a lot of people with the same issue. Alexa works great too but it seems like a pretty simple bug to fix since I can change 12 or 25 hour time display. Little bugs like this make for an aggravating experience on an otherwise great product.

Absolutely embarrassing product

slus0000

My first Bose product ever purchased has been the noise cancelling 700 headphones, and most certainly will be my last. This app completely destroys any acceptable use of the device. I shell out a stupid amount of money for “flagship” headphones and it feels like all I got in return is the worlds most expensive ear muffs. This app has been updated how many times and they still can’t figure out a way to make it work with the NC700 headphones. What an absolute waste of money on a product and a beyond embarrassing app that has completely turned my opinion a 180 on how I feel about a company. You should be ashamed of this worthless garbage.

Causes connectivity issues with Bose 700 headphones.

Headphone are great without the app. The headphone were nothing more than a paper weight with this app installed. Technical support is sending me a shipping label to return the “defective” headphones. They work great after deleting this app. I will most like cancel the replacement provided they continue to perform well. Save yourself the aggravation and frustration, skip the app, plug, play, and enjoy.

Amazing Sound!!

I am never disappointed with products from Bose- And I own several. The sound quality is second to none! The engineers at Bose are amazing!
