I’ve wasted hours trying to activate headphones on the app. No joy. Sony wins again!!!

This app identifies my Bose 700 Headphones as Bose 700 Home Speakers so it asks for ridiculous things like asking that I connect to WiFi to pair my device which doesn’t make any sense in the context of Bluetooth headphones. I’m hanging onto a thin sliver of hope that they’ll fix this in a patch but I’m looking to return soon.

Have to delete and reinstall to connect again. Using latest iPhone, iPad Air, and Bose NCH-700. Still within return window, so I make go back and swap for the Sony ones. Might work well if you only have two devices and never, ever need to connect to a third (eye roll)

The Bose connect app was much better. This app requires that you log in each time you open the app which is really annoying. Also it then does not auto connect to your headphones. You have to select connect and then hope it works. More than half the time I have to put it back into pairing mode to connect even though I am already connect to my phone. If they could fix those issues that app would be much better. Also there doesn’t seem to be a party mode where you can share and connect multiple headphones to the same source as before.

The connection Issue with the 700 headphones seems improved with recent updates. The app is not bad. But is pretty limited. Few requests: - Landscape view on iPad. Its realy anoying to have to flip my ipad to landscap when to use the app while my smart keyboard is connected. - EQ Settings. this feature would bring the 700 headphones in line with sony in terms of sound. I like the sound of the 700s but since people seem to want more warmth an EQ setting would help the 700's compleat. - When the 700's connect there are 3 buttons that appear, first, Bluetooth Source and Settings, than after a few second the "Bose AR", I like the bluetooth button, but it's anoying that it moves possition to make room for the "Bose AR" button causing me to miss when i try to tap it.

Bought a pair of 700s but this app is honestly awful. It disconnects, then fails to reconnect, forgets your login details every time and is just an awful experience to use. Very very buggy and just badly designed.

Same error messages creep up on NC 700. None of the TuneIn and other stations work from the app. All you get is the “not implemented” message. Seems Bose doesn’t know how to make iOS apps.

Was hopeful that recent update would address NC700 HP connection issues. Hope. Uninstalled application, reset HeadPhones, cleared BT list, reset phone. Why do I waste some much time and money for this?

The app is fine, not great, but it consistently drops its connection to my 500 home speaker and 700 sound bar. Sometimes it connects to one, sometimes both, sometimes neither. There’s no pattern. Bose needs to fix this problem since the speaker settings and playlists are primarily controlled through the app.
