I love the app and it is nearly perfect. The only thing that is annoying is the tone of the voice when I am wanting to listen to it while I’m driving or have my headset on. The voice is so monotone I have to focus more on trying interpret what it’s saying than actually taking in any information. There needs to be a different voices that are not monotone so the information comes across more clearly
The worst general reading app I have ever used.

I am using this app because the publisher I use for a Bible study switched from Amazon’s Kindle App to this one. I was willing to look past the fact that it costs more to buy the books, but the clunky swipe left or swipe right functionality is useless for anyone who isn’t using it for a text book. There should be an option to use a single direction swipe for those who are using the app as a general reader. Update: The publisher went back to Amazon for a while and then back to this app again. It is still bad. It is half baked.

for a year I have not been able to get this to work. I can make an account and that’s it. It will not even let me search my books. Every time I tried I get the response to search again it’s not found.

I installed this app after I found a multi volume work on VitalSource that will be quite useful to me. This app is adequate but needs refinement. I can flip pages and search well enough. Still, more view settings - like the Mac app has - would be helpful. An in-app brightness setting would also help.

This bookshelf app works well for some books but not consistently. Some books don’t allow a dark background or different text siding, nor do they allow the speed of the reader to change. As a visually impaired person, I count on being able to use the dark mode, resizing of fonts, the font type, and for the reader to give me some control and help. Without those features, using this app is useless. Also, my book is telling me it will expire in 28 days. I paid for the book and should have it permanently. I was also hoping to download my book as a pdf so that I could try a different reader, but the app does not seem to give me that option. Not too helpful.
It’s so laggy needs an update asap

When i open this app i litterally cant see any of my books it keeps showing a zoomed in version of the homescreen and no mater what i do it remains the same. Its annoying because the app used to work fine a couple months ago. Please resolve this asappp!!!
