Overall great app and very easy to use.

Zuko Battler

Love the app. Overall could use a few improvements. Wish the app was a little faster. User interface takes a little longer to load some functions. Especially when trying to toggle motion detection between on and off. I would like to see cameras on the main screen as grids versus a list.

Worst software EVER!!

ScottLeeWebb

Live view is restricted to 20 seconds then you have to click “continue” and in landscape view on iPhone the “continue” button is hovering over the iOS navigation bar making clicking continue impossible. A joke? No. The real question for an account that is not on their subscription plan why restrict and control me on live view? Blink has serious issues with their software and Amazon who now owns blink is clueless to correct it. So buy their products with this warning.

App has a lot of bugs and crashes constantly

MenaceTX

I wish that I could recommend this product. First, the app has a lot of bugs and crashes multiple times every single time I use it. That’s just recent. Prior to perhaps a software update or even an iOS update that’s making it crash but it needs to be addressed. Second is the two way talking feature which does t work half of the time with a constant bussing and delays that makes it frustrating and mainly impossible to use. The concept is good but the software and hardware are severely lacking.

Missing buttons

Heathjoey

I have this app on my cell phone and my iPad and for some reason the live video button and the camera button are not on the Home Screen on my iPad like they are on the cell phone. I have to go into past recordings to get a button for live view! Why would it not be the same as on my phone? Other than that it’s good so far.

You can’t hold to talk with indoor cameras

realmatkoenig

I love the cameras and the ability to see what’s going on but the “hold to talk” doesn’t work with my indoor cameras at all. They position in the bottom left corner on the iPhone 12s and when you push down the area that says hold to talk, it does not respond at all.

Inability to select a group of clips to delete

Firebug4444

The fact that you can’t select a certain clips you want to delete and then delete at one time makes it almost unusable. Wind makes tons of videos and my husband was working in the yard which produced tons of clips that I need to delete. Mind you I should have turned it off while he was outside working, but I didn’t so now I have to delete individually hundreds of clips by swiping and then hitting the delete button. For each clip!!! It would also be great to have a timer of when you disarm for a reason like yard work or something that it alerts you to turn them back on so you don’t forget. I don’t Know why the wind turned them on as there was no movement in front to prompt it just the sound of wind. Please make the upgrade immediately to select the clips in a group and THEN hit the delete button. I don’t have 20 min or more to individually delete the clips nor do I want ti spend my time doing this. Overall I like the use of the app and blink their are just a few MUST HAVE things that need to be updated and then some nice to haves

Not compatible with older Mac OS X

intotv

Blink is another company kneeling to Apple and their way of forcing consumers to update their or own operating system or risk your apps that you have grown fond of totally obsolete! I’m not sure who’s fault it is, but blink should still offer the early op systems the ability to use the application . Do android users face the same dilemma here?

Crap

jlukem

The app is not signed by Amazon so you can not trust the code it installs on your phone. Sloppy.

Two stars for app

Gleny509

I have read through the reviews notice majority of the negative comments. 1st let me say the app hasn’t crashed on my iPhone 7 or 13 pro max But The app does lost connection to the wifi often and I would blame my internet if I don’t own à RiNg. And I could be walking in or around the house before I hear the 1st warning while app is in safe mode So far not one glitch using the Ring. But this one which apparently sells from the same company acting up. I regretted buying more of them should have upgrade with Ring.

Nice looking cameras and a great price for the system.

Easy to set up, very reasonably priced. Works great. My one criticism is that mounting instructions...There are none! All the technical stuff with syncing and getting it on my devices was simple and explained well. The mechanical stuff was ignored. The way the camera “ snaps” on the mounting bracket should have been explained.
