Great, but clunky editor

Has great tag system, can add any file in note, but a bit clunky editor: Sometimes difficult to even select text. Have most all my notes here, but ... Heard for ages that they are rewriting Bear’s editor, but they haven’t shown even a mock-up or a beta yet. Lists and quotes are not indented as they should. Same problem on printouts too ;( We expect bullets, list numbers, and quote markers to be aligned with text, not inside the left margin – at least not in printouts! Not fully Markdown compliant, hope they can add MultiMarkdown support. No support for custom styles for HTML, PDF or Word export and print. Have to export to Ulysses or Drafts to get decent printouts with my preferred style sheet. Hope they are working on support for custom CSS for print and export (similar to Drafts’). Bear really needs an automatic backup feature, like Ulysses and Drafts have ... It’s a five star app once these things are fixed/added. Sorry for being so picky, maybe they are too busy with the ? web-app ?

I downloaded this app after seeing many features that a wanted in the description. However, a lot of these amazing things that I wanted for are not available for free. I am disappointed that I was mislead, but the features I can use are excellent. If you are not set on using different themes, placing locks on your notes, and syncing across devices, I would recommend Bear.

Man this app is something else, it is actually (for real) you can chill and have fun as well as get work done. This is so productive it can keep you going. It is calm, and you can definitely just enjoy it, you can probably get a lot of hours in if you even use a cup of coffee. Just try this app and you will be chill immediately, and you will feel the vibes!

우선 아이패드/아이폰의 기본 제약인 터치스크린의 단점을 극복시켜 줍니다. 기본적으로 밑줄, 굵은글씨, 인용문, 첨언, 체크리스트 모든것이 단축키를 통해 해결되고 기존의 cmd 키 를 활용한 게 아니라 직관적으로 되어있습니다. 밑줄같은 경우 _밑줄_ 이런식으로 한다던지 굉장히 편리합니다. 태그 기능도 굉장히 좋아서 하위 태그를 할 수 있다는게 굉장히 편리합니다. 대학교 과제 정리할때에도 #과목/과제# #과제/과목# 두개를 해놓으면 각 과제별로, 과목별로 안에서 구분할 수 있어서 굉장히 편리합니다. 구독을 하면 PDF로 내보내기, 아이폰 연동 이 되어서 이동중에도 에세이를 작성하고 나중에 워드로 복붙을 하지 않아도 그냥 PDF로 변환 제출하면 되서 매우 만족하며 사용중입니다

Beautiful app, why must there be a subscription model?

I’ve been using the app now for months and I like it a lot. Things like exporting to PDF require the pro version which is unfortunately using a subscription model. I need to export maybe once every few months, why should I pay a monthly fee for that? It’s a text editor, can’t I just pay you ten bucks and move on with my life rather than sign up for endless payments that I’m likely to forget about?

This app... At first glance, it seems that this app is made for professionals. I'm not professional. I see many settings for underscore, italics, Strike through, BOLD, and.... hold on.. this might be easier to navigate than I thought. I can link stuff ( even if I could link stuff, I wouldn't because privacy is important! ) There is the #hashtag which sorts stuff. You need to get this app. I recommend it to you, writer to writer, writer to business person. This is a must-have for anyone who has an iPhone/Ipad

I am a evernote user also for a long time, it's a great app but a little bit complicated and expensive, since I use Bear, I decide to shift my focus to it, one of the reason that I don't give up evernote is evernote web cliper is just great, it's efficient and easy, hope you guys can catch up. Second, windows 10 is my most important working-system, so, you know what I mean, I'm sure I'm not the only one. Appreciate your work ??

Hello bear team. I like what you have done with the app. I am looking for it to become my apple notes replacement but what is holding me back is the decreased support for pencil kit that apple notes has. Could you please add this? Thanks
