I love Bear. It's elegant, robust, simple and fast with almost all the features people needed. There must be a world-class team behind Bear. I also hope it's possible to use your app to format and export screenplay too.
No support for markdown tables.

Great app with a serious shortcoming

I love Bear, and use it every day. However, whenever I have to search in long notes, it drives me crazy, enough to dock 2 stars from the rating. There is no inline search, and when you search across notes and click on a result, you’re placed at the top of the document. Maybe 2020 will be the year it’s fixed.

I was looking for an alternative writing app that allowed synchronization with iPadOS after Scrivener failed me after the upgrade. By the time I add the project to the Bear desktop App it is on the iPad seconds later. Now I’ve transferred also of my nonfiction projects to Bear.

But it works when it does. I share a lot of things. I wish I could select multiple sharing options at once. E.g. link + title + web content, etc.

I definitely do not use this app to its full potential, but the things you are able to do with this astound me and make it well worth the pro subscription. Glad I found it.

This is clearly the best Bear themed notes app for writing down which overpriced stock I need to sell the next day. The icon makes me happy. Bears love red.

This app has all of the features you could want and none of the bull that others tend to have. The price of Pro is warranted and fair. You can change the theme which helps with different lighting situations and organizational tools available make this app a dream to work with. Have it on both my phone and Laptop and I love it. 5 stars
