Sync problems

Vlad861

I’m actively editing a document on iPhone and Mac. And constantly have sync conflicts. Once you get a conflict, it’s a nightmare to resolve it, there’s no helpful tools that will highlight what is the difference between two versions. I’m very frustrated and regret I purchased pro subscription. The app is worthless!

This is still happening... 11/2/19

Even after the most recent update, it has been opening on one note every time. It’ll be the last one I did any typing on. If I start a note and decide to delete it, it’ll open a NEW note next time I open the app. I clear my history after use every time, and it STILL always opens a note now. Not my main page. It is so frustrating. I did recently complete a list and delete it, and now it just keeps opening a blank. Very frustrating. I use this for lists for work, bills, general use stuff at home, and it is still so glitchy.

iPhone 11 pro text runs off the canvas

Hey team, on the iPhone 11 pro the text runs off canvas to the right and the only way for me to see it is to go landscape mode. Hope you can fix this ASAP!! ?. I’ll give you 5stars when you do ❤️ Updeate: Thanks for fixing the text overflow problem!! 5 Stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Would be great if sync worked

Cade89

This is a pretty great app, except for its sync functionality. But that one flaw is detrimental to the whole experience. Bear has a support article written over a year ago on how to avoid sync problems that basically tells you to open the app on all synced devices any time a change is made. This has been a problem for too long and that’s a ridiculous way to handle it. These sync conflicts aren’t rare. They happen with almost every change. The whole point in using sync is to access the same set of notes from all my devices. But it’s such a pain that I keep going back to Apple’s notes. Bear also claims they keep both versions of a note marked as conflicted so that users don’t lose data. Of all the other notes apps I’ve used with sync, none have lost any data. Bear needs to do its own conflict resolution and proper background sync.

The new tags feature: sweet. What a great way to organize ideas this app is.

Truly Impressive

The SWGS

This is one of those apps that really shows off the power of the iOS app platform, this app has so much polish. I’ve been using it since it first came out, and they have iterated and updated it so consistently not just fixing bugs but adding features. You don’t see apps like this on Android. Not with this much polish. This much attention to detail. This app is an example of why I love iOS.

Crashes

Enjoy Bear but the apps on ios13 consistently crash during typing

Took a while, but finally deep love for this app!!

I am embarrassed to say that it took having Apple’s Notes app become less and less useful (slow, major and sustained sync problems, etc) for me to really focus on fully exploring Bear -which I’ve had for a year but used infrequently. OMG! Did not realize what I’d been missing! Fast, dependable, syncs perfectly every time with all my devices (iphone, ipad, mac), beautiful, versatile. Amazing app. Advice: spend 30-60 minutes really focusing on what it can do (which I neglected to do at first). You’ll never go back.

Simple, clean, effective. Love it.

I switched from Evernote, and I just love this app. The use of hashtags to categorize is easy and fun, the ability to make categories inside categories is better, the interface is awesome, so far I have found that there is no limit for what I can write, and it is just plain epic. I love writing down my ideas, thoughts, and stories on this app. Perfect job, 10/10.
