Avoid this Game Until Connection Issues are Fixed

This was a great game until recently, and I spent many hours on it. I have played money and tournament backgammon for over thirty years, so I know what I am talking about. Now that it has converted to a subscription service, costing money to play more than 6 times a day, it is not worth it. The reason is that you take a loss on "Disconnect" at random times, and of course it happens at the worst possible times. I lost 10% of my stake in one game, which I had about a 90% chance of winning, because of "Disconnect." This is just plain bad application architecture. They can figure out a way to have the game restored after some minor connectivity glitch. Don't reward these people with your money until they produce something that works.

I normally don't like Backgammon, but I decided to give this app a try. The subscription service let's you play unlimited times, but it doesnt feel worthy. The game is laggy, slow and the app suffers from connection issues. I'm not happy with the UI and the gameplay. Uninstalling it right now.

Loved this app, could play unlimited for free. Now you have to pay, not once- but monthly!! Outrageous! Scam city baby!! Going to download another backgammon app to get my fix! Don't even consider downloading this app. Whiles it features are solid, not worth the money! Bye bye!

New updates killed this game

Best one by far! It allows you to review your game with suggestions of the best statical move a great tool to improve your game!

Worst BG app...

Seems to be rigged. Losing 90% of games, to often getting paired with an AI player that usually wins by a landslide, opponent often gets multiple doubles to player's low rolls. Believe this is a tactic to deplete bank in order to coerce player to spend real $$ on coins. Also, will randomly end game announcing "You Lose" for no apparent reason (usually am winning when this happens). I have deleted this game as I am fed up and complaints seem to fall on deaf ears. More recently, am trying out Lord of the Board and it seems superior in that the play seems more real and NOT fixed...so far anyway.

I was in the middle of a game. It was doubled 3 times. I was winning! It was the other persons turn. Screen pops up YOU LOSE! What the F? This has happened to me several times! I also think they should put you up with players that are on the same level as you. Being an ok player being put up with a pro isn't too fun! You lose your money so fast! Contacting them for any issue is ridiculous! They NEVER get back to you! The app is a love hate relationship. It moving more to the hate! UPDATE! Jan 6 2017 I once again was playing a game and WINNING!!!! I got kicked off saying I lose! I'm DONE!!! Deleting this app! CHEATERS! Not fun!
