Awesome App

I am a FTM... planning and being prepared for my baby’s new arrival is very important to me! This app has allowed me to shop from anywhere and add all items I want from one place. Only thing is I wish that you know the items are unavailable before people try to buy the item. Also, not everyone is familiar with Babylist so when sending out the invitations to the baby shower, we added the link. It’s not as receptive as I would have liked. Sending the link directly through text is better.

Not only is this the best option for a baby registry, baby list is a fantastic resource for all soon to be parents. It is user friendly for not only parents, but baby shower guests alike! I have had such a great experience with the baby list app. 10/10 recommend!
Not worth it

Baby List is worth it if you know you’re going to keep every gift you receive. It’s a nightmare to return things from Baby List. I would not recommend this app.
Some issues
Difficulty with return
I decided to purchase a few things left on our registry after my baby shower. I went through babylist for the purchase and used the registry discount offered. Unfortunately someone had purchased us the gift too but hadn’t marked it a purchased. When I tried to return ours, baby list said they only take back unopened products. We had taken it out of packaging to look at it but it is unused. I suggest if you purchase something, go through any other store that (amazon,Kohl’s, target) that has more lenient returns. Also realize not everyone will mark a product as reserved or purchased.

Babylist registry is everything a registry should be! As a future mom, I can list a product and there is no obligation for my friends and family to buy it at any particular store. Once reserved, Babylist follows up with the person to make sure the item has been purchased. They can buy it anywhere, bargain hunters can do their thing! It’s so seamless. I’ve both been a buyer for a friend’s registry and have had my own registry. It’s all been so easy and I wish the format was something I used for my wedding registry.

I’m not sure why anyone would use any other baby registry other than Babylist. Aside from being pretty awesome its so convenient. I love that you can add to the registry from pretty much any store, shop, boutique or website. This is particular great for me because I tend not to like a lot of the baby stuff that’s out there at all the major department stores. I also don’t believe that pink and blue should be my only options for color. You can add everything you need to Babylist and it’ll list all the stores it’s available at along with its pricing. So you and your family and friends can choose where you’d like to purchase from. Aside from that there are other things you can add to the registry like a diaper fund, daycare fund & you can even put on your registry that you’ll accept hand me downs.

I regret doing my registry on babylist. You only get 15% discount on some of your items that are on the babylist store. Additionally babylist prices are way more than other places. Makes no sense at all
