Awesome app.. but could use a time limit on reservations

I love the app and how easy it is to use. I love that I use different retailers for my registry instead of sticking to one and provides price match for the items. My only annoyance with the app is when someone places an item on “reserve”there’s no time limit on when the individual should either purchase the item or doesn’t. I missed out on receiving items from my registry because some individuals “reserved” items and never purchased. There should be a 5 day time limit on reservations.

I’m not sure if it’s my app or not but it has added multiple of the same item even though I didn’t do that. And I will put things into a category and look back through and it’s back in the general category ?? HOW DO I FIX THIS?!

I’ll say that for purposes of the registry this app is good, but I am EXTREMELY dissatisfied when it comes to using our gift certificates to order stuff. It takes up to and in some case OVER A MONTH. Needless to say it’s a problem when you order something for a baby and don’t get it for a month. This has happened several times now and I’m at the point where I don’t recommend this app. There are plenty of other apps out there. Basically they’ve gotten their money, and they drag their feet to send you anything when you try to use the credit you have. It’s dishonest and it’s bad business. For our second my wife and I will look elsewhere (although who knows, by the time we get our stuff from Babylist we may well have already had our second). Terrible. Would not recommend to anyone who wants anything delivered before their child starts high school.

This app would be GREAT if you were able to use your app to buy from another registry, not just edit your own. Please add a way to buy from other registries inside the app, avoiding having to search on the web.

Disappointing service

Addicting and awesome!

Although it is good in theory, they sell your personal information. Even when you leave the address or request to have them message for shipping address, they did not care and used billing address without consent or informing me. This caused a lot of stress and unnecessary grief. All they did was say “we used address on file” but there wasn’t an actual address on file. Now I found out my personal information has been sold and my billing address is receiving baby samples under my name. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED, this journey is stressful enough without having added stress from a company that promotes to be less stressful on future mamas. NOT RECOMMEND and deleted my registry.

I used this app to put a baby shower together for my sister and I loved it. I didn’t know you could buy a gift card from this store but a friend purchased one and what I didn’t like is you can’t use it for the stores they partner with. I think if you can put Amazon items, Gap and the other stores who should be able to use it on all the stores. If not please get winter clothes for the children because not all people live in warm weather all year around. I also think $48 for a legging outfit is ridiculous. This could be a great store if you match up with Amazon

This app was great. It gives you multiple stores to choose when trying to purchase an item. It tells you when someone reserved purchased an item. Super easy! The only thing I didn’t like was that your guests can reserve a gift but then change their mind and not purchase it but others will see it as reserved so that may discourage them from getting it ?

I can’t say enough about how much I love this site. They have guides on literally everything, and they’re written in a way that gives you lots of information without overwhelming you. Googling things like “best car seats”, “top strollers” or “how to cloth diaper” is a recipe for total overwhelm, but if I just search on Babylist I get everything I need to know. This site has calmed my nerves and allowed me to purchase / register for what I need with confidence. Thank you for your thorough research and excellent writing.

Items not showing as purchased

I was excited about using baby list, but have run into a few big problems. Some items disappeared off baby list once they were bought. Some items aren’t showing that they are purchased. Very frustrating.
