Have spoken to two diff agents and no one has BRN able to help me ! No idea how I can add items from other stores ! Extremely confusing

Buggy

Blue and Orange Birds

I liked the idea that I could add from any site but the search function is really buggy and doesn’t work well. There’s a huge push for their own affiliates of course and then just a small selection within that. It’s not as customizable as I was hoping and is always promoting items on a much larger budget.

Excellent love it

I am SO disappointed with this APP. Babylist will only allow you to use gift cards purchased on their site/app on their own little “store.” The store marks up inventory 2 to 3 times the price as target, amazon, and buy buy baby. I am just totally disgusted. So Now I’m stuck with gift cards and they don’t even have what I need in stock. Did I mention you can’t even just settle and buy diapers through them? Ridiculous. They have 0 changing tables. Thanks baby list. Once this gift card is gone I’m deleting my registry and never ever recommending you again. Also please don’t bother calling customer service unless you want to leave a message. Appreciate you making this experience a nightMare.

No need to register at multiple places separately or for gift givers to look at different registries. Everything in one place with vendor price comparisons for buyers.

Do not bother trying to use the app to make purchases or to have friends and family make purchases! Basically its good for collecting and making an item list for yourself, but between shipping issues, lost or untraceable packages, zero communication between usps and baby list... about half of items that people attempted to purchase were the wrong size, lost, not delivered, or refunded without notification. Its a lot of work researching and baby lists adds a whole other layer because you have to hunt down issues with sellers, addresses, shipments. Monumental waste of effort.

Please do not use this app to send out for your registry

As I have found out nearly six months after rising have had my baby, if you have any items that you returned for a credit (I was gifted the incorrect car seat and it was purchased through babylist, you can only use the credit to buy something from their store directly, which has limited items and elevated prices. While the return process was extremely easy, while pregnant, and it consolidated items I needed from other stores, you are unable to layer purchase what you need from those stores with your credit. They recommended as a solution to buy things from their store (with no way to access just their store directly to see what they had, but rather having to add things from the internet or other stores and then see if there is a babylist icon so I can purchase from there) and thought well at worse I can purchase $300 worth of baby food bowls (seriously, come on), or diapers which I prefer to get from a cheaper retailer and at this point I have already chosen diapers and wipes that work for my baby, so why would I switch to new brands that only they carry because that is the only brand they can have an alliance with. It has now been such a waste of time and money that I would I’ve preferred to just register with amazon directly, buy buy baby/bed bath beyond, and target/Walmart. Please don’t get caught in the same problem as me! It’s not worth it. You can get the app if you want to read articles with suggestions, but who knows if babylist even sells them.
