Three-month subscription for $US19.99.
Six-month subscription for $US33.99.
Twelve-month subscription for $US59.99.
Each subscription will be automatically renewed unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current payment period.
Your iTunes account will be automatically charged at the same price for renewal within the 24-hour period prior to the end of the current payment period unless you change your subscription preferences in your iTunes Account Settings.
When a subscription is canceled, access to the app’s courses and features will expire at the end of the current payment period.

There are no shortcuts to learning a new language- but there are efficient and effective methods for those who are willing to put in the time and Babbel brings those methods forward to your immense benefit in this killer app. I’m happy with what I’ve been able to learn and retain this far, and for the contemporary nature of the curriculum. I own Rosetta Stone for Russian- and tho a worthy learning method itself, the content is dated. Babbel’s content feels fresh and modern. And it’s a little price tag for what you’re getting in return. I’ve bought a lot of language apps, programs and books. If you’re gonna buy just one - make it this one.

Need Arabic, Japanese, & Mandarin versions someday. Also learning the Cyrillic alphabet would be easier with a lesson reinforcing/testing just the phonetic pronunciations early on.

No one star?
If I have to fill out your questionnaire one more time so you can make your idiot programmers smarter then I will give one star ratings every time. So I am three behind but don't worry I am stubborn. Also I am tired of taking your beginner set of words (mama) every time I try use your app. No way to skip it -- which means your programmers are arrogant bozos who think they are smarter than your users. In fact they don't know what they are doing because they released a version that fails to work properly. This is something arrogant jerks do a lot of. Oh, and did I mention I'm tired of logging in every time also.
The pronunciation of the letters and vowels as well as words and the sound level is very poor!

The apps requires enhancements!!!!!! The pronunciation and loudness of the alphabet, and words is severely lacking! I have an amp to help amplify the sounds and it’s still poor!
Word stress lesson a bit frustrating

Some of the audio files are clearly stressing the first syllable when it says the last syllable (specifically “мука, духи, замок,” and “ресторан” sounds like the emphasis is in the middle). Is it a matter of elongating, or different kind of emphasis on these syllables? The distinction would be helpful.

The free, preview version of this app works very well, and it might persuade you to buy a subscription. DON’T BE FOOLED! Since I purchased a subscription, the app has repeatedly crashed, won’t allow me to continue from where I left off after the previous lesson without crashing (forcing me to go back to the beginning of the previous lesson). It doesn’t provide any way of scrolling forward or backward. It is, in short, completely maddening and, in my opinion, a huge ripoff!

Very disappointed, their German course is absolutely great, unfortunately I cannot say the same for their Russian course. I bought subscriptions on both courses and for the Russian language I have to go to the website in orden to get acces to the "beginner's" course which is kind of annoying since I'm primarily a mobile user. Besides that, I don't see too much material to learn from. I throught this course would have the same level of quality than their German app, I was wrong. I'd like to cancel my subscription.
great app, annoying speaker

great app. no complaints except that the pronunciation portion drives me insane. i pronounce the word like 1000x and it doesnt take or says its wrong and its frustrating. my husband is russian and he says my pronunciation was perfect, for most of the words, and no accent, but it keeps not taking and its aggravating bc it can be a useful feature, but it should be modified to work better, i use another app that is similar and has this feature and i have no problem with it.otherwise, its a great app. small detail that could be fixed with an update
