Location services and battery life

I like everything about the August Pro lock we purchased in Nov 2019 and installed after Christmas 2019. The set up is easy. Albeit we had to send “guest invitations” twice as that seemed to be a slow process. Two features I miss and would like to see included in an future firmware update is: 1) The ability to see the battery life left in the AA batteries in the lock. 2) For August to use the location services of our iPhone device instead of having to leave locations services “always active” for August in order for the Auto lock/unlock feature to work for “owners”.
Whoever designed this app deserves a medal

This has to be the best designed app in smart home technology. I was really excited to install the August and when i saw that the app had 5 stars i was instantly more excited. (Former Kevo user). My only complaint is the set up is a little glitchy for the August connect, but it still works. So far everything has worked flawlessly.
Not working with Apple Watch Series 4

Tried uninstalling on both watch and phone, resigning in, etc. Nothing is working.
HST time zone?

Why does my app show the time range for guest keys in HST time zone, while my phone is in PST and when I select those times, they are in PST?

The app works and it’s very convenient. The problem is the hardware. I’m on my second lock and it’s starting to make the same noises the first one did when it stopped working. The first lasted just under two years.
Worked fine first but now it almost never does

This thing was amazing when I first got it. Then an update happened and now the thing won’t even auto lock now. It wouldn’t even let me lock it manually.
