Latest update breaks Regression: HomeKit setup on Yale connected by August locks

HomeKit setup no longer works on a Yale lock that is already configured. The only way to work around the issue is to do a factory reset and setup the lock again making sure HomeKit is done in the initial on boarding.

I am so happy with my August lock. It works perfectly for what i bought them for. I have 2 and love them. The only thing that needs to be adjusted is the distance when to engage Away Mode. It literally engages like 10 blocks away. It should be once you have left no more than 300 feet away but not 10 blocks

For the most part this app works well and I love the convenience. However, sometimes the app shows that the door is unlocked when it is in fact locked. Also, sometimes the app doesn’t log the activity.

Update: “Authorization Error” when I try to set my password. I can’t get into my house because this thing is a piece of junk with useless error messages. Old review: I hate this thing. I don’t know how the reviews are so high. It’s terrible. I have to give them all of my personal info including phone number and picture, and have to create an account just to use my bluetooth lock. Even if I don’t want the invite/sharing functionality. There is no need for this. It’s just harvesting personal info unnecessarily and will probably get hacked and/or sold to marketing companies. Not only that, but the thing won’t even create my account. It just says error 400 bad request when I try to register. So I just bought a brick. Update: Now it just gives me 401 unauthorized. NO USEFUL TROUBLESHOOTING INFORMATION AT ALL. STOP WASTING MY TIME.

Even though I can get through the email verification and phone verification, when I get to entering the new password I want to use, pressing the next button gives me the following: Error Authorization Error Please fix. I tried deleting my app and reinstalling it and it didn’t work still.
