Complex cool!

This is an amazing synth app. Complex enough to do just about anything you want. Extremely fun to learn and play around with it.

Like magic

It is really exciting to be able to program synthesizers and transfer them between iOS and OS X. User base is very active and helpful.

"Finger painting with ideas"

That's a line from the Audulus documentation, and it is 1000% accurate. This app is hands down, the best iOS app I've ever used, of any kind, period. It's interface is revolutionary. The sounds you can make are endless, and truly limited only by your imagination. For instance I was curious about how formant filters worked (what they did to the bass guitar at the beginning of "Livin on a Prayer"). I went from a Wikipedia article to directly implementing those ideas in Audulus to make my own morphing formant filter from scratch, in about a week of playing with Audulus on my iPad while laying in bed. You can download my formant filter as well as about a bazillion other amazing things, on the Audulus forum, which is an amazing and fertile user community. Best money I ever spent in the App Store.

Perfect. Never stop developing this app.

MaximumHarp

This has been one of the most influential apps we've crossed paths with. I have no complaints whatsoever about the product. Enjoyment will never cease, even a lifetime of use will keep a user occupied. So innovative and original. Developers, you've done exceptionally well! Made it onto my phone's app dock. I can see myself keeping quite busy for the foreseeable future...

Excited

Looking forward to learn synthesis

Love the app! But not working with iOS 11 yet

As of public beta 5 this lovely masterpiece is not producing any audio, just a heads up

Modular crisp&clean

I think this is the best, if you have a higher end iPad. Great actual tones and sound at the end stage. I love the way the wires work as well. The whole layout is inspiring and even though it's hard to understand it's all there to read. Hails to this amazing app!

Simply perfect.

Audulus is an amazing tool. The freedom to iterate, ease of use, and performance are outstanding — as is the developer support.

The premier modular synthesizer for iOS

HammerDulcimer

As a long time amateur musician, I have always been interested in modular synthesizers. I fondly remember playing around with the Moog when it was first released, but never had the funds to actually own one myself. These days, hardware and software synthesizers are everywhere you turn, but for the most part they are still pretty pricey. Recently I was inspired to once again look at what was available. Native Instruments' Reaktor Blocks looked good, but was still a bit steep for my budget. Fortunately I discovered Audulus. While other software synths spend development time and energy on making a user interface that looks like a traditional modular synth, Audulus has captured the essential nature of the underlying principles. The interface is simple and elegant and has no unnecessary fluff to get in the way. Everything you need to build your own patches is included. All the basic components found in a typical modular synth are available and the performance is outstanding. I continue to be amazed at how smoothly the application runs even with extremely complex patches. Definitely the premier software modular synth for the Mac and iOS. Now updated for iOS11

In love with modular synths

A small update. Since I got Audulus I hace been watching videos on modular synthesis and I can tell you the more I learn and play with Audulus the more I fall in love with it. This is so deep and rewarding. Thanks for this amazing app I just want to know more about sound and I am a lover for textures by watching the videos I know that with this I'm going to spend hours and hours learning and developing sound which it is something that is giving an itch although a good one
