I have other bird apps but I am really liking this Audubon Guide. So Quick and easy and the Photos are beautiful. They Display pictures of the birds in their habitat and flying, it just gives you a whole other perspective. I’ve only had this app for a week so I’m going to run it through the ringer maybe write some more comments later. I can already see that there was a whole Lotta creative thinking that went into creating this app. Good job!!!

I use mine in combination with the Cornell app and they are a great complement to each other.

I bought 9 Audubon field guide apps and they were great but then Audubon stopped supporting them with updates and now I can’t even open them. So this app is awesome but I’m glad it is free because I don’t want to pay for any more apps that Audubon may decide they no longer want to support.

Not only is this the best for tracking birds, but if you like to stay home there’s pictures and most of them have noises they make but, however, I have been looking for the Red Kite bird in the search and I cant find it and I really like red kites because they’re pretty and big and have pretty colors like red, Orange, black, and sometimes even gray, white, or dark yellow other than that this is the best app I’ve ever seen

Finally an ap that makes it easy to find out what birds are coming to my bird feeder! This ap is super easy to use and has lots of big colorful pictures of the birds.

This app is useful for looking up birds on the fly, but I was very disappointed in the list feature. I have an iPod and use wifi to connect to the net. Whenever I enter a bird after I get home, it gets displayed as the date of entry, not the date of sighting, so that feature is useless for me. I wrote this some time ago. However, since iOS 11 this is the only Audubon Guide that works out of about 6 I bought. There is no recognition of this from Audubon, and no way to contact them to find out if an update is in the works. I am really annoyed by the lack of transparency.

I hope the developers read these reviews so they can address issues that affect the usefulness of this app. I would have given it five stars if all the features worked with iOS 11.0.3 on the iPhone 7. As it is, neither my husband nor I get any sound when we press “voice” while using the app on our phones. However, it does work on my iPad with the same iOS. Please fix this! New issue with 11.2 update. Pictures have vanished as have range maps. Please fix!
