Great app. Great home layout. Responds quickly + great info and photo. Super cool.

This update is terrible!

This app as updated is awful! It doesn’t work- it kills when looking for unknown bird- the text doesn’t fit a phone app. I truly want the old version back! I thought is was because it wasn’t written for iPhone but my friends with android phones have all the same problems.

Update is terrible. Worse than terrible.

This was my go-to app for years. I could easily find a spot to visit when I travel. I could easily ID birds with it. Now every page asks for money. I cannot see what birds were seen recently nor where they are at. It’s awful. What a mess. Fire the app management team and start over Just awful what management can screw up I’d like the huge amount of money I spent back Further I was forced to get the MERLIN app to replace yours. It’s not nearly as good as your old version but 100X better than this updated pile of garbage

No longer useable

I agree with almost all of the recent reviews. The update has made this app almost unusable. Too bad, it used to be my go to birding app.

The New App!

I’m starting to like the new app however when searching for a bird, lets say the sparrow, the pictures of the birds are way too small to compare. Please enlarge the photos. The names are important but we identify by sight and in the old app it was much easier to see each bird. Thank you!

Too many bugs

royroddey

Used to use this app regularly but it’s gotten very buggy and doesn’t seem to make much sense anymore. A shame.

Horrible change

I have to give you my personal information now to even look at the birds??? NO!! Return it to be able to access when I want.

Audubon bird guide latest version

eereerrr

I I agree with a previous reviewer that this new update is terrible. It is not nearly as easy to find a bird name and listen to its call and the particulars of the bird. I too will not be using this new addition or upgrade. I would like to revert back to the previous one is there anyway I can do that? It’s too bad Audubon ruined a previously good and very easy to use App. I will no longer recommend this app to my new to birding friends

The Bird ID finder is sort of hard to use if you don’t know the name or if you can only hear the bird. I got a possible 10 out 180 and none of the first 10 recordings matched. I wasn’t planning on listening to all 180 recordings while on my walk. The Lists are also hard to use and you can’t edit the name of a list in the event you make a spelling error, unless I haven’t figured out how to do that. Of course I love birds, so I’ll keep using it, though I think the app still needs some work.

Let’s make it worse!

OK team, it’s time for a major app update. Let’s see, how about taking up half the screen with donation requests. Then we can make it impossible to find the actual locations of birds on a map. Finally, let’s make it so hard to post an observation that our users abandon us and go straight to the ebird web page. Honestly, I’ve used this app for about six years because it was the best out there. Now it is horrible.
