AT&T Enhanced Push-To-Talk (EPTT) is a next generation PTT service that provides virtually instant voice communications, highly secure messaging and location features over 3G, 4G, 4G LTE and Wi-Fi and serves as a powerful collaboration and productivity tool for businesses and governments.
Offering both one-to-one and group communications with up to 250 contacts, EPTT supports voice as well as Integrated Secure Messaging functionality, which allows users to transmit highly secure text, images, video, files, location data and voice recordings to both groups and contacts. In addition, Location Tracking enables the management of resources and workers in the field. Users are able to share their location data with groups and contacts while supervisors have the ability to track the locations of group members as well as establish geo-fencing to manage the movements of users in and out of a work site.
Once installed, the EPTT client can be configured as either the standard or LMR version on a user-by-user basis. User will benefit from an intuitive interface and enjoy quick and easy communications regardless of version. The standard version is ideal for all users and features all the capabilities of the service including multimedia message and location tracking. The LMR version mirrors the operation of a traditional two-way radio with pre-defined talkgroups and all-in-one interface and is ideal for users migrating from two-way radio.
To ensure an optimal user experience, EPTT is certified for use on the latest iOS devices. For more information and for a complete list of supported devices, visit www.att.com/epttdevices
EPTT is available for a monthly subscription fee and includes seamless coverage across the U.S., Canada and Mexico without incurring mobile data roaming charges. International roaming outside North America is available as well and requires an international data plan.
