App won’t load

atlomlet

I have tried reinstalling, updating my phone and everything. The app simply goes to a black screen after I log in.

App will not open on iPad or iPhone

AllisonJean4

I’m not sure what’s wrong with it, but I cannot log in on any device. It starts signing in but then just loads forever and eventually says signing out without ever starting. Contacted customer service but never got a solution that worked. Really want to use this with my kindergarteners, but sadly can’t get through.

Did Not Work

Jsb2000

Signed up for trial and got a black screen every time. Thank God there’s a trial, I guess!

Was great before update

Dholford

Update: Just downloaded the new update and still can’t open app on my phone. I’m going to cancel my subscription before it charges me since the app does work for me anyways. Was great before update. Now it won’t even open. It’s a waste of money if it isn’t working.

Will not open

monkeyboyrogue

Same as the other reviews. The app is just not opening properly on profiles. It just freezes. Sort it out Amazon!!!!

Lots of good free books but doesn’t share well w Audible

Heartland Bakes

I love the parent features and books. However my child likes books like Harry Potter and Percy Jackson and I own the series on Audible. The app has a place to share the titles and shows they are shared but won’t show in his Queue. I once spent over 16 hours on the phone being bounced between Amazon Kindle and Audible each explaining they are different companies or giving conflicting information. Finally it was resolved and worked for about 3 days and now isn’t there. I can let my child use my profile make another but it defeats the purpose of the benefit of the parent controls, goals or other content limits. The free content is great it is just a bummer I can’t use my paid content and my child is too young for a profile or account of his own.

Best kids tablet!

Mom.101.

My son has had his amazon fire HD8 tablet since he was two years old and he loves it till this day he is going on 4! My son is a genius. He has known his alphabet, colors, shapes, how to count to 50, songs, body parts, etc at just 2 years old. Now at 3 1/2 years old my son knows so much more including how to read, and count over 100! He is almost able to count to 1,000! He can count by 5s,10s,20s! He is learning his time. He knows his planets and animals! More animals I may know! He knows his dinosaurs names. This tablet has definitely helped him! I love it so much. I also love that there is a parent dashboard where I can control just about anything! I can see what he spends more time on, I can pause the tablet, set times for him to get on and off. I also can play on the tablet on my profile if I like! It’s really an amazing tablet and I definitely recommend it to everyone especially if you don’t want your child getting on YouTube watching scary videos!!!

Better iPad and iPhone Compatibility PLEASE

Cherelyn00

I’m a little disappointed when Kindle compatibility is seamless and this app for children who need to be able to see the words clearly is lacking. The words are super tiny and it doesn’t automatically conform to the device screen size. The child should be able to see both pages in landscape view and single page in portrait view without having to constantly zoom in and zoom out throughout story time to see both the words and then show the pictures. Especially with what’s going on, reading time is vitally important and spending that time with kids is much needed to ease anxiety. Your help in making this experience impeccable would be greatly appreciated. Let’s give these kids our best and the parents who are paying for this application. Thanks!

Video won’t play on iPhone and iPad

Viralpatel1221

Video won’t play, gets an error each time, customer service suggested to wait upto 5 days until fixed after doing troubleshooting. It works well on android devices though. Anybody else facing this problem??
