Haven’t even gotten into the app yet. It’s only letting me set up four accounts. I need six. There’s only one avatar to choose from so they’re all the same. I don’t have hopes this is going to be an effective app. Maybe you should do some focus groups and work out the kinks then relaunch?

I probably should have read through the reviews a bit more than what I did. I subscribed to this for my son to have more option for reading material as majority of his reading for school is nonfiction right now. He has to log his reading daily which includes the pages numbers. After beginning his first book we realized that there are no page numbers. So we checked a few more books and to our surprise there were no page numbers. Sadly we had to cancel as it is to time consuming to try to count the pages he’s read!

For iOS this app has little to nothing. I get much more reading material from Epic books. I really wanted the apps that were advertised for this app but found through digging and finding fine print that only the fire tablet gets this. I have iOS so only could look at books and a few shows. I’m very disappointed. This app isn’t intuitive and is a real bummer. Buyer beware if you have iOS you do not get everything they say in the adds.

My daughter has the kindle fire kids addition. The parental controls are amazing on it. It truly is free time for her without having to ask for permissions or my wife and I wondering if she has downloaded something she isn’t supposed to. My only suggestions would be to add a nap time option to the parental controls. And this is on the fire tablet but add a cellular option please!!!!

Bought 3 Fire Tablets for our kids. It’s been a non stop headache since we received them. Spent over 5 hours in total on calls with Customer Service trying to purchase the FreeTime Unlimited subscription, correct an overcharge and update our account location. Customer Service lacked knowledge of the system and kept putting us on hold. The FreeTime App continues to be extremely slow and constantly asks for WiFi connection to open the App when the tablet is already connected to WiFi. This is a far cry from the good service we usually get from Amazon. Very disappointing!!
I wish there were more specific filtering options

I wish it were easier to access and switch between controls for different children profiles. I also wish I could go in and only add specific titles and videos. My opinion of age appropriate is sometimes different than the settings on Prime Video.

We have 4 kids and have had Kindle’s for them for the past 6 years. We’ve bought so many that I’ve lost count. This app used to sync with my kids devices, but now it rarely does. I often find my kids playing when they shouldn’t be able to. I check the settings and they are correct on the device and on my app. But they just don’t work. It’s becoming more frequent and there is no rhyme or reason to it. I’ve tried updating everything without any success. Very frustrating.
