Awesome technology

We just walked in, got 3 items and walked out. We were a little apprehensive that it wouldn’t work as the phone was in my hand for some time and then my son’s. Also the receipt took a little time to come, but when it came, it was spot on. Amazing job Amazon.

Love the store

SCAN & GO

Time is currency and using this app makes my little much hour feel longer!

The app doesn’t work.

It keeps showing “something went wrong” after those introduction pages. No matter I re-download the app or close the app and re-open it. It doesn’t work.

Great tech intro, but needs scaling

Went to the store in Chicago. Wanted to give it a try by buying breakfast. The app is REALLY well designed and provides a simple scan and pocket experience. The stores however are only marginal. The fresh food is poorly packaged and looks meager. It’s fairly priced for its location given that a breakfast across the street is twice as much. I also didn’t see anywhere to heat up the hot meals. People in the financial district are looking for food to eat now. I ended up getting a yogurt and a drink for $8. I’m looking forward to this experience for full sized stores like Aldi because there is just not much there. It’s currently more like a cafe without the coffee.

Love Amazon Go!

I really love Amazon Go and it has become my go to lunch spot in Chicago. It’s super convenient and has some delicious food options. I would love to see the app on my Apple Watch so that I don’t have to dig my phone out to come in the store.

Great experience so far, just have one request

Used one of the Chicago stores for the first time yesterday for lunch and found it to be a great experience, I was in and out in under 2 minutes with lunch! What’s more, the receipt matched my cart exactly, so no problems there! I have only one request for the app: I’d like to be able to make a “mock cart” before entering a store, by selecting items from the catalog, so I can see the total projected cost before I go in. The total for my lunch ended up being more than I expected, and I’d like to avoid that type of surprise in the future without having to do all the manual work of using a calculator. Otherwise, great app and service!!

Watch App?
SkeptiCUZ

7-11 sized store with decent products but, for downtown SF, surprising that our three 7-11s within two blocks each have same or more customers! Feel needs to get a Watch App and bigger store ... but excellent concept, customer service, and simple execution as a start. Ty
